Did anyone else like Man in the High Castle? I liked it but know people who didn't.
I liked it, too.Did anyone else like Man in the High Castle? I liked it but know people who didn't.
I need to try and watch it again - Im a big history nerd and that type of thing can be interesting.Did anyone else like Man in the High Castle? I liked it but know people who didn't.
Yeah that is added to my list - watched it many times."Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" since it hasn't been mentioned. The movie was OK, the original BBC series was great.
I couldn't get past the first episode. It was just too ... I dunno, sad, gruesome, disturbing. I probably started watching it at the wrong time in my life too, since I had a lot of emotional stuff going on.Did anyone else like Man in the High Castle? I liked it but know people who didn't.
All my contributions seem to have been covered and I was about to add this one but LuvOrlando beat me to it. I'm not a giant Marvel fan but this stands on its own pretty well.Legion is part Superhero part Sci Fi , I really like it.
Well that didn't really change throughout the series. There are some very dark moments throughout.I couldn't get past the first episode. It was just too ... I dunno, sad, gruesome, disturbing. I know I watched that one but I can't remember how it endedNot just one of the best sci-fi (ish) series, but one of the best series ever, The Leftovers. The places this show goes are terrifying, suspenseful, beautiful. I've watched all three seasons twice.
SS -GB? Is it a BBC show? I like a lot of British TV but have never heard of it. I also need to put BBC Hitchhikers Guide on my list.I need to try and watch it again - Im a big history nerd and that type of thing can be interesting.
I started on season 1 but sort of get dis interested.
There is smoothing similar I have not watched yet - SS-GB so basically the UK is occupied during WWII.
I really must have missed it because she looks much older than I remember seeing her.
So am I! Especially with Neil Patrick Harris appearing as the Celestial Toymaker… I’ll be seeing him at the CP in just a couple of weeks. Beyond excited!I’ve been a Doctor Who fan since 1972 and still enjoy rewatching the classic era episodes, and I’m excited for the 60th anniversary specials that will be aired very soon.
Yeah BBC streaming on Amazon.SS -GB? Is it a BBC show? I like a lot of British TV but have never heard of it. I also need to put BBC Hitchhikers Guide on my list.
For those that like the Prisoner (1967) - there is a story arc in Pinky & the Brain that is based on the Prisoner.
Everyone is hats instead of numbers. Brain has the same Jacket if I recall and says - "I am not a hat!" Etc..
Obviously the kids had no idea, like much on that show, but the writers did it for themselves and the adult fans.
The remake of the prison is watchable but does not hold a light to the original -as often happens.
Would probably add Pinky & the Brain to the list - just not the version with Elmira.
Solar Opposites as well - its very unusual but I like it.
Since I've gone on this tangent of cartoons - Star Trek the Animated series is worth a watch - not so sure Id watch it more than once though.
I also like Gravity Falls, Bill Cypher is an interesting character. Need to watch it again.
