what do you think on these 2 tipping spots

we went to the local casino to play bingo--
Besides getting all the games on the computer
I also like to get the games on paper and mark myself
so I go get my paper and theres a tip jar on the table
where the person sits and gives you the paper
Im supposed to tip you for handing me some paper???
also when you play slots and go to the cashier with your
tickets theres also a tip jar there
Im supposed to tip for giving me my money back

I think not on both of these ideas
now I know tipping is at your discretion
but come on putting a tip jar in these two places is just crazy
just looking for thoughts

I agree there are many places that really should not receive tips that are trying to jump on the tip bandwagon. The most egregious one I have heard are some self checkouts being programmed to ask you for a tip after you have scanned your own purchases. What? I think that tip would belong in my pocket.

I surely agree with you on tipping for doing the work yourself--we should get money back from playing cashier
