What Do You Think Of This Christmas Idea?

On Christmas we plan to do EE at MK and then have a late big breakfast(10:00) at Chef Mickeys. I think we will resort hop for the rest of the day. I know we wont be hungry enough for a big meal after CMs but we will probably want something later on. I was considering Beaches & Cream maybe around 6:00 or 7:00.
So, how is it there? Would that be a better idea than just picking something up at a food court? Also, do they have a full bar there?
Thanks for any Beaches & Cream info.

It sounds pretty good and I have heard that the MK is virtually empty Christmas Morning for the first couple of hours (people opening gifts???) and checking out all the resort decorations sounds like a wonderful way to feel Christmassy.

Only thing I question is Beaches and Cream. Sounds like you don't want your Christmas dinner to be too expensive? Only bad thing about B&C is you can't do a PS. True, no one can so everyone who goes there will be in the same boat, but who knows how long you'll have to wait! And i don't believe I've noticed a bar in B&C, but i'm sure you could get a drink in the BC hotel.

Where are you staying? Maybe that will help with recomendations.

Thank you! I didnt realize you couldnt book PS there. Ill take that into consideration.
Its not so much we dont want it to cost a lot, as we dont really want another huge meal after a late buffet breakfast. We hope to do the CP processional package at Le Cellier on Christmas Eve, so that will be our big holiday dinner there.
We are currently booked at ASMO, but if I can get a good rate, I would like to change to the Boardwalk. You are right. A lot does depend on where we end up too. :)

I was at the Swan for Christmas in '01 and that really played into where we ended up for Christmas dinner - Epcot - bc we could just walk there and back and not have to deal with transportation. And i'd definitely recommend a PS for a holiday meal unless you want to get take out - I witnessed first hand people waiting hours to eat!

Figure out where you're staying and where you'd like that Christmas dinner to be (ie resort, park, boardwalk area) and just go for it. Who says you have to eat a huge meal? Just grab some appetizers and desserts! Sounds perfect to me! If your staying at the All Stars and have a car, perhaps you'd like to try Boma and their fabulous buffet! Or if you're staying at the Boardwalk and don't want to do Epcot again, how about Spoodles? You could even do takeout calzones there and bring them back to your room! or perhaps Palio at the Swan. :)

Anything is possible...

Thanks for the ideas! They are all great. I wouldnt have thought to go out just for appetizers & dessert, but I guess that could be done too.
Obviously, this is the very early stages of planning, but I will keep your ideas in mind. :D

You might want to consider the Crews Cup. They have good appetizers or you can order a burger there too.
