Hi everyone - newbie here! :confused3

DH, my DS (23 months at time of travel) and I are going to WDW for 3 nights pre-cruise and I had no idea how much planning went into this! But I do love it as I am a planner at heart.

We are staying at WL Jan 8-11. We did get the DP for those 3 nights. We arrive at 3 pm and are not planning to go to the parks the first day. We also have to leave very early on the 11th to drive to Miami so we do have a rental car.

I just made the following reservations today. Please give me any feedback/opinions please as it has been a very long time since I've been to WDW.

Thurs Jan 8 - Dinner at WCC
Fri Jan 9 - CS for breakfast and lunch, Dinner at CP
Sat Jan 10 - Donald's Safari Breakfast late morning and CS for dinner

Snacks in between. We'll grab breakfast on the go on the 11th. We're planning on MK on the 9th and AK on the 10th.

Thanks!

Your DS will love CP and Tusker House! I've never been to WCC so no experience there.

Have a great trip!

WCC is still on our list of places that we want to try.

We love CP and think that it one of the better buffets (especially character buffets) that we have tried.

Have also heard good things about Tusker House but haven't made it there since it was changed over.

I'm sure you'll enjoy these meals....have a great time.

We've never done CP for dinner...only breakfast. But you can't beat the characters.

We were very disappointed with WCC after all the hype on here. I didn't like the food and DH got sick on it. The entire time we were there (and it was long because we were seated 30+ minutes past our ADR time), we saw/heard none of the antics mentioned but once--and it was very quietly done.

Tusker House Donald's Breakfast was really really good, and very entertaining...the characters were great! We did not care for WCC, it was ok, but I was not impressed with the quality of food. We haven't tried CP Dinner yet, we have only been to the breakfast.

Crystal Palace is indeed a very good buffet, as was Tusker House breakfast. I can't comment on WCC because have only tried it once(for breakfast), and was starting to get sick then, so didn't really enjoy it. But that wasn't any fault of the restaurant.
