Has anyone tried this? What do you think? Food good? Experience good?
Thanks

We went last Sept. and we thought that the food was wonderful and the character interaction with Cindy's Stepmother and her stepsisters was hilarious. Those girls really get into character! Prince Charming was also a nice bonus.

Food was hot and fresh. Each bar has items from different places around the world (italian, morrocan, american, chinese, etc.). There was a meat carving station, pastas, salads, a kids bar with mac n cheese, strawberry soup, as well as many others and a cool desert bar with mini tarts, etc.

It will be a must do for our next trip.

We had dinner here in 12/07. It was shortly after the menu change. My family didn't enjoy the food. (We felt the food at CP was much better, for comparison.) The character interaction wasn't very good. It was also disorganized compared to other CM we've been to...we won't repeat the experience.

If someone had a DD that "had" to see Cinderella, the food is edible.

We ate there for dinner in February and loved it! There was a great variety of food at the buffet with yummy desserts! Characters were awesome! The step-sisters acted just like the movie, really it was like they stepped out of the t.v. and into the 1900 Park Fare restaurant. So much fun! My 3 daughters loved it and my husband and I laughed so hard when the characters came around to our table. I'd highly recommend it! :goodvibes

We loved it!! Dd especially loved getting see Prince Charming as well!! Dh loved the food and even asked to go back there this year, that is a lot coming from him :rotfl:

very good --lots of choices for everyone--picky eaters included.

Are the stepsisters there for both breakfast and dinner?

For breakfast we had Pooh, Tigger, Alice, Mad Hatter and Mary Poppins. It was the best character meal we've had, food and interaction.

I was actually going to post this questions myself! We've booked 1900 Park Fare for breakfast. So, the characters are definitely different than at lunch and dinner? Also, is the food good at breakfast? We're basically doing brunch -- 10:45...
TIA!

Mary Poppins and Blintzes...what more could you want?

We've eaten breakfast there a number of times now (got anther planned this fall). We quite liked the food and the characters are great! Alice and the Mad Hatter are quite fun. And you get to talk to them! One year Alice was very chatty about our camera. And they will answer questions that the more traditional characters can't. My problem is remembering what was in the book and what was in the movie.

Thanks!! The blintzes do look good :rotfl:

Plus, the Mad Hatter was always a personal favorite and my 8 yo is currently reading Alice so I feel much better about that ADR now!

Good waiting area in comparison to many of the other character buffet establishments. Dining is a little on edge as is the norm in any character meal setting as you don't want to be at the buffet as the characters pass your table. This place is loud during dinner and the floor layout with the tables is a little odd, especially with the wings..one on each end of the main room with the serving line...why not just make it one room?

We find the food to be above average in the charcter meal category and even beats out many TS restaurants.

Agree with Fairy Moms comments, "Cindy's Stepmother and her stepsisters (are) hilarious. Those girls really get into character! ..."

We went to breakfast there in Dec 06, at 10:30, it was jam packed with people, the noise level was insane..they stuck us by the kitchen door and the other tables were so close that the characters could not make it to us so they just waved. The food was terrible, it was not being replenished and was dried out, the fruit had taken on a refrigerant taste, the bread and pastries were all hard. There was only one egg station open with a huge line.

We will not go back because of the noise level...I know food can be hit or mis but the noise you cannot do anything about

the meal at the Grand Floridian resort at 1900 park fare. This is a character buffet. No one should go to Disney world and miss this. They were wonderful. The characters which were plenty including Cinderella, Prince charming, the mice, Fairy godmother, they came to the table a few times and the mice were flirty and funny. Prince Charming came to the girls and chatted with them a few times. We were never rushed. It was wonderful. Now on with the food. I really don’t know where to start. Everything was wonderful.

It was a buffet that was delightful. There was everything from salmon to beef , spring rolls lots of different veggies, roasted , steamed , pasta, mussels, sausages in sauce, it was just amazing. We all ordered drinks with glowing icecubes, the prince and princess drink, it was fun and delicious. Tasted like a Shirley temple. We were so full we didn’t eat dessert but there were a lot to choose from. Just to see the Hotel is worth the trip over. It is amazing. We will go there for sure on our next trip.

The food was great and the character interaction was awesome! We will be going there for every trip now. I am a very picker eater and I found plenty to eat.

We really enjoyed the character interaction. Prince Charming was very, well....charming :rotfl: Not someone you usually find in the parks so that was fun.

The stepsisters were a riot. My DH made the mistake of mentioning the word "wicked" to the Lady Termaine and she did not like that one bit!! It was hilarious.

DH is pretty selective with what he eats and there wasn't a lot that he chose, but what he had he enjoyed. I thought the food was really good.

Overall it was a great time, I definately recommend it.
