I have woken up the past few mornings with small pink bumps on my hand and arm. They're hard and some itch, some are sore and some I don't even feel. What could they possibly be? I haven't changed detergent or soap recently.

Bed Bugs maybe? Do any traveling lately and may hve brought them home?

Bites and Concerns
Bed bugs usually bite people at night while they are sleeping. They feed by piercing the skin with an elongated beak through which they withdraw blood. Engorgement takes about three to 10 minutes, yet the person seldom knows they are being bitten. Symptoms thereafter vary with the individual. Some people develop an itchy welt or localized swelling, while others have little or no reaction. Unlike fleabites that occur mainly around the ankles, bed bugs feed on any bare skin exposed while sleeping (face, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, etc.).

Not recently. It's weird though, it's only on my right side. Nothing on the left. Thinking maybe it's a reaction to something but I don't know what.

sounds like an allergic reaction to something. DD8 had something similar on her hands a couple of years ago. I had to get her a prescription cream to put on once or twice a day. Or maybe you could try hydrocortisone cream (OTC) first to see if it clears up

They're too scattered to be hives. I've been putting Hydrocortisone on it today and it helps with the itching. I'm going to give it a little more time to see if it clears up. If not I'll call the doctor about it.

DH had something similar not long ago. He also used the hydrocortisone cream and it in went away on its own after a few days (might have been closer to a week, I don't remember). I think you are right to give it some time to see how it goes. You could always call you Dr.'s office and speak to the nurse on call in the office. If you describe it to her, she may know exactly what it is and recommend something for you to help you with it. It would save you a trip to the Dr.'s office (we all know what that can be like!)
