I personally would be sad to see the ride go. All one has to do to really appreciate it is take a ride on DCA's Superstar Limo "ride". After that, you may think the Great Movie Ride is an E-ticket attraction in comparison.

I have heard the same rumor. At first, I wasn't at all intrigued by the idea of the theater being torn down. Plus, I like the Great Movie Ride. However, I like the idea of the "Hollywood Mountian" idea taking place as well as the ride. Mann's Chinese Theater is just an entity of Hollywood...The Hollywood Mountian encompasses all that lay below it. Does anyone know when this transition is going to take place?.......Mickey76
