I am really curious to hear your comments/compliments about the re-opening of "Its a Small World" after the long rehab. If you have pictures I would love to see them.

I don't have pictures, but the new look was nice. The ride looked clean (which it honestly hadn't looked like in a long time). Everything was working and the boats (are they new? Does anyone know?) weren't chipped. I liked it -- as much as one can like It's a Small World ;) .

I honestly didnt notice any difference :rotfl: it was never a ride I went on often as the song would get stuck in my head and drive me nuts, but I took my 2 yr old nephew on 3 times while down there in June and it looked as I remembered it.

BTW my nephew now sings Its a small world quite frequently...the only lyrics being its a small world after all again and again

It's beautiful now! Very clean, everything working, etc. The soundtrack was much nicer too! We went on it twice last week - but couldn't find any hidden Mickeys. Are they gone?

We were there in July and it was really cute. here are a few pix if they work

ok, for some reason they don't want to show, but you can click the links to see them

They did a beautiful job - everything is sparkly clean and shiny. All the dolls are spruced up and I love the entrance of the ride where they made it look like Disneyland's version.

The "revised" version is absolutely gorgeous!!! I LOVE all the white and gold!!

I always loved this ride. The song never bothered me. The biggest difference is in the loading area.

I noticed monkeys on vines this time. I don't think I ever saw them before. I wondered if they were new. Did anyone notice that??

This has always been a favorite since I was 4! I hope it still has that 60-70's feel to it. I think that I remember the monkeys.

I thought it looked great; fresh and bright. My son loved it. I think they finally replaced the water, which was the original water from the world's fair version. It's no longer hallucinogenic/carcinogenic! :earseek:

Just got back from MK today and still enjoy Small World. I have pictures on my photo.epson. site listed below.

The Mickey Heads on the vines have been there. I found them our first year we were there.

Now see I've been riding this ride since '75 and I find something new all the time. I never get tired of it. I can't believe I never noticed the monkeys on the vines before.

The rehab improved our experience last time we rode it in May. :goodvibes ::MickeyMo :sunny:

I'm excited to see how it's a small world looks now. I always have to go on it every trip, considering it was my favorite when I was 2!

Love the new look--Front and back rows bad on leg room for adults. :Pinkbounc

I was extremely impressed by the rehab -- the colors are fabulous, so bright and clean! I also thought the animatronics were better now. Also loved the white/gold in the wait area. :)
