Forget underwear. Soon enough we'll be required to use leaves for toilet paper. At that point, I will lead the rebellion for the love of Charmin.

I have an eye condition that requires the brightest light possible for me to see just about anything and then I still sometimes need a lighted magnifier. This will become a quality of life issue for me. I didn't know about it but this will not be good news for me. I am sick of the government running my life but you get what you vote for. I would never bother to recycle the lights just like I don't bother recycling anything else. It's just not a priotity for me to be honest. I guess I will start stocking up on lights too.
Not that thrilled about OUR Government telling us WHAT kind of Light bulbs we can use....next they will be telling us what kind of underwear to wear!![]()

Actually they government isn't telling you what light bulbs you can use, otherwise they'd go house to house removing all the older ones.

I also don't like being told what type of light bulb to use in my own home.
I am not sure I have an opinion on which light I like better, However, don't tell me what I can and can't purchase, at that pint I will decide that I like the old lightbulbs better, that's the way I roll. The Govt should stay out, well except for the spandex lol.
Now here is where I pt on the flame suit. I don't recycle. Sorry, too much of a pain in the butt to me. We are very limited on what they will take, and I don't believe that our recycle people will ever except these light bulbs. There is no way on earth that I am going to take those stupid things to Home Depot or Lowes. I would waste a ton of my gas and those places are crazy on the weekends. So in the trash they will go.
I watch my spending at home with turning off lights, keeping heat and the air down. Turning off TV and things like that. I also drive a big l SUV, won't give that up either. I choose to pay for the gas, and it is my choice not the govt's.
Rant Over.

....I bet you pool hop when you're at Disney too! You
Europe is doing the same thing.
I don't care for it either, but the mandates have been and continue to be ongoing....
low water usage toilets
low flow showerheads
lightbulbs
changes to washing machines (you can no longer buy a machine that lets you set the water levels to low-med-high)
no more freon
hope that water heaters aren't the next to go; not a fan of those instant ones
