This has probably been covered before, but I am wondering what you pack to carry into the parks. In the stroller, backpack, cooler, etc.

Thanks!

Stroller with wipes in pocket

thermos backpack cooler with waters and soda and Aloe Vera handwipes

thermos backpack cooler with snacks (fruit especially frozen grapes, applesauce, PB&J,snacks)

Kipling bag - hangs in stroller, with big and little ziplocs, small first aid kit with sm scissors, backup phone and camera battery in sealed ziploc), antibacterial wipes ,crayons and small coloring book, sunblock, elastic hair bands

Small Clutch bag ( inside Kipling until we park it) with phone, money, ids, pen index card with itinerary and adrs inside of a ziploc to protect it and TIXS!

Rain bag- with ponchos and ziplocs and stroller cover and sometimes sweaters.
.

Large mesh beach bag to throw all The above crap in when stroller is folded (or to carry home newly purchased goods)

Me- camera around neck and car key in pocket, photopass on wrist, hat or ears

It might seem like a bunch of bags but it all fits (with extra room) in the large mesh bag. Having everything separated in bags makes it so easy to grab what I need quickly.

Flip flops for the water rides. Nothing worse than alking around all day in wet shoes!!!:scared1:

We had one backpack last year (it has tons of pockets)
*camera
*antibacterial wipes and gel
*first aid kit with neosporin, bandaids, ibuprofen
*small tube sunscreen and chapstick
*rain ponchos (I got the 2/$1.00 packs at dollar tree)
*small notebook with itenerary

We bring as little as possible. Of course, we don't have kids to worry about. So we usually try to get anything we might need (ID, credit card, pass, disposable poncho) in our pockets. Sling a camera around my neck and I'm ready!

This summer will be our first trip without a stroller so I'm planning on bringing a small crossbody bag and that's it!!! It will contain all of our gift cards and KTTW cards, my ds's autograph book and pins, my camera and extra batteries, a small pouch with basic first aid items, sunscreen, water bottle and my pins. That's it!!!!! I'm so excited to be hands-free and no stroller to worry about. Of course my dh and I wondered what the rest of the family will do without our stroller to put their stuff in. :rotfl:

As little as humanly possible. Even when we took our boys, we carried almost nothing. Tickets, ID, camera, cash, cc. That's about it.

I bring a cloth cinch-style backpack that I can fold and stuff in my pocket. Then I put my camera, cell phone, and wallet (w/KTTWC, DL, and some cash) in the other 3 pockets, and we each carry a water bottle. Once we're through the gate (and have avoided the dreaded bag-check), I put just about everything in the bag.

Note: We always take breaks after lunch, so we really don't need to carry sunscreen...but we apply heavily before we head out and again when we get back.

I took my backpack:
4 bottles of water 2 frozen(In a separate insulated cooler lunch bag) I swapped them out with QS bottles as we ate.
1 small first aid kit
1 pack flushable wipes
1 medium towel ( BELIEVE ME YOU NEED THIS!!)
ponchos
hand sanitizer
tour book
folder with approved snack list and location for every park

lol, people with kids seem like they are going on expedition. First aid kit is not needed. I am pretty sure that is that job of Disney. I have one backpack that me and the wife share through the day. The more pockets the better in the backpack. Mine is also lucky enough to come with a rain cover if needed(I can put my pack down on a wet floor for example).
The less stuff I can loose the better.

This is a very good point. A few years ago, DS got a toothache, and we had our first experience with the first-aid/baby care center. After about 20 minutes and $6, we were back on our way....and he was fine until we were home. :)

Backpack, mostly empty. In cool weather, the jackets are needed early and late but mid-day not so much. Easier to pack them than have the kids leave them on a ride. The bag holds the camera and snacks. We keep the ponchos in the car and if weather shows to have a good chance of rain, the ponchos ride along.
We have carried wraps for making various wrappers but if we are going to Epcot, we go to The Land and buy tuna salad (around $3 a container). Makes two nice sized wraps for $3 and the cost of two wraps :)

We also get water from Disney (ice water is free) and use crystal light to get the bad taste out. We often carry a water bottle in the pack and sometimes bottles of soda/juice. We would rather drink the ice water and not carry drinks along as carrying fluids gets heavy. We would use the water fountains but I got sick from drinking from a public fountain at Universal and refuse to subject my kids to catching crud from a nasty fountain. Not Universal Studios fault as people do nasty stuff to fountains.

We also carry our extra "trader" pins in the pack. At the end of the day our sunglasses go into their cases and into the backpack. We started not carrying a pack but figured out carrying crappy disney plastic bags all day frankly sucks.

I put my snacks inside a hard plastic box in my backpack so that they won't get squished.

Don't forget the travel packages of tissues! We always need tissues!

I usually carry the disposable toilet seat covers, but Disney provides them for you! Everywhere!! This is very comforting to the mom of girls!

For us our normal park bring ins are:

Stroller(s) - Double for the girls & single for our son.
Diaper Bag - wipes, diapers for each child, diaper wash cream, 1 change of clothes for the toddlers & at least 2 for the baby, formula, 2 bottles, 2 bibs, a sippy cup for each toddler & four toys to roate through the day for baby. Also spare shirt for me just in case I get peed or spit up on.
Mommy Bag - small wallet with id, medical insurance card, copy of my daughters medical history, camera, cell phone, room key, park tickets..
Cooler - water bottles (usually 10 - 12 per day), small container of gold fish, teddy grahams and cheese its. Just enough to told the kids over if the line for food is long.

Then of course if its cold we have our jackets. Or if its hot then maybe a bathing suit for the kids. We tend to bring a lot in but we use it all through out the day.

ETA: also the baby carrier so baby can hitch a ride every now & then. Extra socks & extra pair of loose fitting shoes for my daughter in case her foot starts to swell up. Stroller rain cover is a MUST (but part of my daughters medical condition is that her skin peels & bleeds if it gets wet so she has to stay dry).

Since our kids are getting older I don't have to carry near as much as I used to:woohoo::woohoo:

Camera
Mini first aide kit
Autograph books/pen
Wipes
Mini Wallet with KTTW/Cash/CC
Gum
Tissues

I am actually hoping that I can find a smaller bag for this trip instead of taking my backpack:thumbsup2

We always bring lots of antibacterial wipes, hats and WATER! A water bottle with a handy water bottle holder for each person. Typically I bring a light jacket or sweater and some handy snacks, for the hypoglycemic folks. When you're standing in line it can be a long wait. My voluminous purse ends up with all kinds of things, DS consoles, iphones, cameras, my book, food, etc. The DS or iphone comes in really handy during a 1 hour line. From age 3 it was a lifesaver, no whining when they're entertained. We used to have a stroller, but now we have a wheel chair when my 89 year old mother comes along. Otherwise we have the use of my sister's stroller, thank heavens!

Oh, and even when it's not raining we always take a poncho to sit on at the parades. In the summer we rigged up a beach chair umbrella for my mom and it was great, kept her from the blazing sun.

I used to always wish for a second pair of shoes after a long day at the parks, but now thank you for whoever designed fitflops, my feet are happy, happy, happy! I wear them rain or shine, cold (not snow cold) or hot.
