My wife hates liver. I love it. So I only order it in restaurants. My wife was horrified to discover at two family restaurants we frequent that it is the BEST SELLING item on their menu. As the server at one said......"it is the ultimate comfort food"

My mom and dad both would over cook beef until it was so well done you could barely chew it. I could never swallow it so I would spit out chunks of it and put around my plate. It was horrible.

I love calves liver but not beef. Also chicken livers.
