What do you pack?

I am starting to think about what I need to pack for my 8 day trip in August and I need some help and opinions on what I should be packing. It's me, DH and DS6. Can you guys give me some adivce and tips please???

Here's my list from last August:
Shorts and t-shirts, preferably sleeveless and light colors, not dark.
Sunscreen
Ponchos
Good waterproof walking sandals
Bodyglide for chafing between my legs
Misty Mate for the heat
Cool scarfs for the heat, but I didn't end up using it; we just grabbed a wash cloth from our room and wet it at each water fountain to cool off the kids.
Brita filter bottle for the WDW water
Misty fan, but I only used it once; it got a bit crushed in the suitcase
blister prevention stuff like moleskins, Bodyglide for my feet, peppermint cream for the end of the day for my feet.
Hat for my head to keep it cool
sunglasses of course
chapstick with SPF strength

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

flip flops or water shoes for pool and waterpark use
sunglasses
prescription and non-prescription meds
film and sunblock (both are expensive in the parks)
contraceptives (whatever method you use, bring a backup- I've lost my pills on vacation before!)

fanny packs

laundry soap and dryer sheets

restaurants ADR numbers

adress book (if you plan on mailing postcards)

camera, film, batteries

bathing suit

plastic bags to put dirty laundry in

Get a folder or binder. Put in it: flight info/tickets, rental car info, resort reservation info, PS times and numbers, etc., and any other ressies you may have. AND A PHOTOCOPY OF THE FRONTS AND BACKS OF YOUR TICKETS.

Keep this folder with you. Don't check it with your luggage.

I also make a copy of our drivers licenses, medical cards and travel info. I leave this copy with a trusted neighbor or relative. (I also include copies of our ATM and credit cards, but not everyone may be comfortable with this.) This way, you'll quickly have access to this info if you need it. This info can be invaluable if anything "nasty" should happen to a purse or wallet on your trip.

Print out and tape INSIDE each piece of luggage - your name, a cell phone number, flight info and your destination resort, its address and number. And the dates you'll be there.

This may seem like a lot of work, but it can prevent some really big headaches.
