I saw Care Bears at the Hallmark store recently, as well as some Strawberry Shortcake figures, but none of the original SS toys I remember.

Spago you are reading my mind. I miss Calvin and Hobbes but most of all I miss my childhood, making forts out of sofa cushions, playing with my toy guns. I miss the lazy day of summers. I miss not having to worry about money, school, relationships, jobs.....those were the days

I'm older than Most of you but, the forts and carefree days of being out all day w/o Mom even thinking about us, etc. I miss that for my kids now. Oh, they still do tents and forts but, going outside all day w/o a care, I don't think so!!

And, Calvin & Hobbes was THE funniest cartoon strip!! My baby bro (28 today) absolutely LOVED this strip and, has most of the books! The one with the toilet, flushing his head-LOL And, the one with blowing a bubble gum bubble, just cracks me up!!

And, I miss my youth. Enjoy it, kiddos!
