There are a ton of "what not to miss" threads. I'd thought it would be interesting to get the other perspective... what you don't bother going on/seeing when you go and why.
We also have some that we have never tried because we don't think we'll like it but maybe we should!
Here our list of attractions we don't bother seeing and why:
1) IASW: I'm sorry but the lineup for this is SO long... and so is the ride! It takes forever and it's the same thing over and over and I want to throw myself off the boat and drown by the end. It's good to try once to see if you like it but we would likely never bother riding this one again and are happy to skip by it each time.
2)ITTBAB: My kids would hate the spiders and bugs so we've never done this ...should we?
3) Luigi's tires: This is one we've never tried before because honestly, it looks SO boring. Is it?
4) Dumbo: This ride, although a seemingly favorite of many also looks really boring. It looks like the cheap $2 kiddie rides I avoid at local fairs. I've been to Disney about 8x and never once rode. Sad?
5) Nemo's Sub: I went on this once as a kid (before it was Nemo) and fought mild claustrophobia most of the ride. I wouldn't mind actually trying this one again but am worried I'll hate it. Worth it?
6) Innoventions: Never been and haven't heard much good.
7) Captain EO: Never been
8) Star Tours: I got SO sick on this the one time I rode this as a teenager that I will never ride it again. My family has never tried it because of the fear I have instilled in them about this ride.
9) Rocket Ride (whatever it's really called): Okay, so my reasons for not goin going on this one are completely unreasonable. It makes me mad WHERE this ride is
. Right in the middle of the most congested part of the park. So I don't ride it.
10) Fun Wheel: Too terrified!
11) WOC: We made sure to do this our first trip with the kids based on all the rave reviews on here. We did the dinner with Fastpass option and honestly, it was so disorganized and poorly setup that I don't think we will try again until our youngest is taller. We waited for hours, standing because you can't sit down, and by the time the show started, we were tired, bored, squashed against the railing and ready to go home. The show was good and I'm glad we saw it once (although our kids couldn't see much) but I don't think I'll go through all that chaos again for a while.
Anyone else have a list?
