What do you make of THIS?

We live in the country and unfortunately had a field rat get into our motorhome.

Boy I was lucky, I think. I picked up mice at a campground in GA. I put out traps and got them all. I don't think they did any serious damage. In fact other than droppings and getting into some food, I haven't come across any damage. I'm hoping that they got in through exisiting openings and didn't make new ones or chew up any wires or hoses. It's been over a year and everything seems to be fine. I learned my lesson though. Absolutely no food that they can open when the RV is in storage. My logic is that if there is nothing to eat inside, then they have no reason to get in, I hope. But I still keep the traps out just in case.

In case any of you want to see what one of these rodent poison stations looks like at the Fort, I found one in one of my photos.

On my last Fort visit, we were in the 1500 loop, backed up to the 1600 loop.

I noticed one of the bait stations behind a site on the 1600 loop, and sure enough, here it is in this photo.

If you look just left of the tree near the center of the photo, you will see it:

They usually do a better job concealing these. As you can see, this one was just sitting out in the open.

That is just so wrong on so many levels, but it's really funny. Gotta love the Fiends that put a smile on my face. Who said people from NH don't have a sense of humor?
