.... I wondered why we couldn't just leave them on the floor, but thought and stored them in the pockets as directed. Now I'm at myself for not just leaving them on the floor!

DS6 and I were wearing flip-flops, and the CM told everyone to remove their sandals or flip-flops and store them in little pockets underneath the seats. Even though I was sure I could keep them on my feet, I didn't want to take the chance of ruining someone else's experience by a falling flip-flop, so I took them off. I wondered why we couldn't just leave them on the floor, but thought and stored them in the pockets as directed. Now I'm at myself for not just leaving them on the floor! After all, they must tell us to stow them for a reason, right?

I have a problem with listening to the CM's when they give instructions so I didn't hear anyone say to store our shoes in teh pouch underneath. I remember the first time I saw Fantasmic these two guys sitting next to me asked if they were allowed to take flash pictures and I said "Oh yeah!" So they started taking pictures between the fence and I told them to stand up and take pictures! Fortunately they didnt' get into trouble and the next night we saw Fantasmic again and this time I heard the cms very clearly say no flash pictures and no standing if you're in the front! I felt so bad but strangely I haven't learned my lesson and I tend to let the excitment of riding the ride tune out the CM's. Next time I will put my shoes in the pouch

I have left my shoes on the ground and put them in the pocket. I am not sure that it matters. It was kinda fun when you go back down to the exact same spot and there they are. But no matter what I ALWAYS ride Soarin' without shoes!! It's fabulous!
