What do you love about BWV? What do you hate about BWV???

I love being about to book a Standard View room near Epcot at OKW/SSR prices.

I hate that there is NO COFFEE TABLE in the Studios!

I love seeing the huge BOARDWALK sign as you drive in... I love the front enterance as you drive up. I HATE the valet service wait times... causes us angst every time... I love the lobby, esp at Christmas.

I love the location. I love the night life. I love Bell Vue Room, I love being stumbling distance from Jellyrolls (have yet to check out Atlantic dance). I love the over all decor...

Love red. lol

I would love it if they somehow expanded the store there and add something like they did at BCV, with the soups and sandwiches... even if it was at the General Store.

Love the location...

Dislike.....

Loooooooong hallways, the drunks screeching outside at all hours if you are BW view, the lack of Quick Serve meals, refillable mugs not so refillable.

Love the whole ambiance of the place. Personally, I liked the busyiness of it. I thought it was fun. Loved the proximity to MGM and Epcot.

Cons? Lack of food choices...you can only eat at ESPN so many times. Scary clown...never a good thing.

Also, loved the 'back porch' feeling.

I'm amazed that no one else has mentioned this - the feeling of sitting on your fourth floor balcony in a Boardwalk view villa at night, enjoying an incredible veiw of Epcot Illuminations with your family. Yes, there are other "park fireworks" views at other various WDW resorts - but nothing comes close to this!!

OK, that's not just me then. I didn't hate that there was no coffee table. However, I thought it was odd. With no coffee table, there's a big area with just empty space, and it looks strange. It looks like there was supposed to be a coffee table there but that someone stole it. I could see why they wouldn't want to have a big coffee table there because then it would be difficult to get out of the way when someone wanted to open the bed, but a small coffee table would be fine and would make the room look finished.

Love:
A Boardwalk view - Wow!
The lobby - Again Wow! (even love the smell of it)
Standard view option
Close to Epcot/MGM
The pools
The Boardwalk stores and being able to see the fireworks at MK & Epcot in the distance
Jelly Rolls
Valet parking & staff - never had a problem
Community Hall (great place to wait for your room if not ready)
The sound of the Friendship boats horn
Really feels like you're at Disney World!

Hate:
There's nothing we hate..... I wish they had a refillable mug station... ridiculous how they give you a paper cup to pour in your mug. Wish they had something like the Beach Club.

The long halls can be an issue

I even called down to the front desk and asked "Where is our table?". I sure was embarrassed when I found out there was no table! At the other resorts, we use the table a lot. My DD eats her breakfast in front of the TV on table and my DH and I use it for coffee in the morning and a beer in the evening. It's also a nice place to "put your feet up". We ended up bringing the white plastic table in from the porch. Talk about looking strange!

BTW, the tables in the other resorts fit easily between the pull out and the porch door.
