Tink, I had the same problem as you in that my pictures were too big so I use Pixresizer to make them the right size. Its very simple, you just click on "Apply recommended" which I think is 600x450, then save it, then upload that through Photobucket or whatever photohosting site you are using.
If this doesn't make sense I am sure someone else will be able to explain better than me!

Are you seeing huge pictures or tiny pictures?
When I reviewed the post, they were huge, then when I just looked they were tiny, I mean really, really tiny, and now they are huge again.

Tink78, when I looked this afternoon they were really, really tiny. Now they are huge but at least I can see them now!!! This is the thread from the Technical Board where I learnt about using Pixresizer http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=781358&highlight=pixresizer
Once you have loaded your piccy to it, press Apply recommended and it will set the size of the piccy to 600 x 450 which is just the right size for on here.
