What do you look forward to?

Are there any things in your daily routine that you look forward to?

Every morning my cat likes to have snuggle time. Lately I'm realizing just how much I look forward to snuggle time. :goodvibes He makes me feel so loved. Since I got up early this morning and he didn't get snuggle time he had to come lay on my computer desk and put his front paws on my arm. It is wonderful to feel loved, even if it is from a fur-baby.

What about you? What do you look forward to?
Awww. Funny, I feel the same way in regards to our 3 dogs! :cloud9: :cloud9:

Opening my bedroom door in the mornings and having my kitties jump on my bed and get attention. At the very least the 2 kittens will want attention, if not Tigger and Belle. This time of the year T&B are usually looking out the front window at the birds, though. Another nice thing is my 6yo who HAS to kiss and hu me before getting on the bus, even if he's late and the bus is waiting for him. It's precious and of course all the other moms say, "awwww". :goodvibes My other kids grumble a "hi" when they see me. My dogs are happy to see me, but they slobber. My DH is reasonably happy to see me and he doesn't slobber, so I do look forward to seeing him. :)

I look forward to the last daycare kids leaving every evening.

I love my job. I love every single one of my little darlings. But when the last one leaves and I get to lock the front door for the night..... :goodvibes :goodvibes

I cherish alone time with my own kids & DH because it seems so rare sometimes.

My precious kitty passed on this past Monday, so I'm glad to see you appreciating your time with your kitty. I wish I had just five more minutes of snuggle time with Olivia. :guilty: . Give your kitty a little hug for me!......P

Oh my, I'm so sorry. I sure will give him a hug from you. I'll share and let you snuggle with him some too.

Mine is about as opposite as it gets!

I look forward to snuggle time at night, with my dog. She'll get on the bed and lay her head on my pillow, and I'll spoon her. Sometimes she lays the other way, and DH gets her back, and then I get her stinky paws.

We do get snuggle time in the morning too, but it usually involves her jumping on our bed to wake us up, shoving her babies into our faces.

Right now I really, really miss my night snuggle time with my dog. She is staying at my mother's house for a while though and I miss her.

Pets really are amazing. I don't know how I could face each day without mine.

Wow, you guys have some amazing posts here. Reading all this made my heart all warm. Thanks for sharing!

Looking forward to reading more too.

I look forward to coming home, looking upstairs to peek at my dog and seeing her get so excited that I am home. She will race down the stairs while I get the mail key and she will spin in circles knowing it is time for our long walk.

Okay, I know I'm going to sound WEIRD but...

I enjoy going to WORK!!

I drop my son off at 8:05 then I'm on my way to my job. The residential area I found to get to my job is pain free and traffic free. It's in a cool looking studio and I am ALWAYS the first one there. I have to open all the doors, I start the Starbucks a brewing, reheat my breakfast then relax in my office where I literally play "games" all day! That's what my son calls it because I work on a colorful traffic system that moves things around like a video game! I work with the most incredible, creative, loving people.... I never dread when they all come in after 9:30... they think I'm CRAZY for coming in so early!

My job allows me to leave early every day to meet my son at 4:30 when he leaves school. He always runs to my car to greet me with a big smile on his face. We spend the rest of the day together and I try to plan something special for him every day.

After the HECK I lived thru the past few years...losing my family and my 15 year job, this is as close to heaven as it gets!! :goodvibes Thank you GOD!

Robin I'm SO glad things are back on track for you. You really do deserve a VERY happy life. You give me hope.

Everyday I look forward to walking out of my last class for the day. I also look forward to talking on the phone each afternoon or night with my mom. Only every few weeks, but when I get to see her, the thing I look forward to the most is giving my mom a big hug, and it doesnt matter anymore if people are watching. Leaving my mom has been the toughest part of going to college

I love coming home from the office, putting on jeans & cooking dinner while my fiance sits at the kitchen table and we talk...about the day, what's in the news, plans for our new house...whatever. Just having him and my kitties close by while I'm doing something I love so much makes me feel so happy and safe.

I also live for my parents' phone calls--my mom and I talk every day.

I love snuggle time with my kitty in the evening - she gets so lovey and reaches her soft little paws up to touch my face - and sometimes falls asleep with them there...but my number one is when my DD gets home from school!!!! :sunny:

:wizard:

I look forward to my first cup of coffee and reading the message boards. Chatting with my friend Pat. When my husband comes home from work, when my kids get out of school. A nice glass of wine and a good tv show being on for a change. Lots to look forward too.

Watching 90210 with my mom every night. I love the show and now she does too. I record it everyday on SOAP network and we watch it everyday after dinner and then go to the gym together. I'll miss this time when I move out (if that ever happens :) )

I also look forward to the weekends (I go to NC every weekend to see my DBF -or he comes to see me-). When I pull up in his driveway seeing him standing there smiling, waiting for me, just sends chills of happiness all down my body)

Being able to spend time with my boyfriend everyday and night time when my kitty lays down on the pillows by my head and starts purring and then waking up in the morning to his purring!

I always look forward to when my husband and I see each other after we get home from work. Sometimes I beat him home, sometimes the other way around - but there's always a long, warm, comforting hug right off the bat. Then we settle in and go about our night - cooking dinner, snuggling on the couch, cracking open a cold beer. When I'm home with him, I feel like all is right in the world. :goodvibes

Going running with my BF (although it's been a while.. we're picking it back up again in a few weeks and I can't wait!).

Also snuggling up with him at night, when I stay over.

Awww, Michelle...

I found this when I opened it to read to Michael. He hugged me after he heard it.

Hope is a small word but it has so much power. God bless you and yours and just WAIT on your blessing!

Heather it is awesome that you are so close to your mother and let her know how important she is to you. :goodvibes
