Are there any things in your daily routine that you look forward to?

Every morning my cat likes to have snuggle time. Lately I'm realizing just how much I look forward to snuggle time. :goodvibes He makes me feel so loved. Since I got up early this morning and he didn't get snuggle time he had to come lay on my computer desk and put his front paws on my arm. It is wonderful to feel loved, even if it is from a fur-baby.

What about you? What do you look forward to?

My 4 yo DD waking up. She is always so excited to see me and gives me a big hug. :goodvibes

DD being home from college (like this week of break) and WANTING to spend time with me :)

I have a lot of things I look forward to each day but the one that jumped out the most at me when I read this was going to bed each night and having that alone time with my husband  and just being able to relax and cuddle up with him and fall asleep without "Mommy! I need this, Mommy!! Mommy! etc. I only get a couple hours a week of "me time" so I look forward to bedtime. ( I just had to add the banana, couldnt resist..lol)

I look forward to my DD getting home from school and my two DS's waking up and coming in to the room yelling "Mommy!" like I had been gone for a week.

I look forward to lying in bed with DH at night and talking until he falls asleep (about 2 minutes some nights) and then being able to read until I'm ready to go to sleep.

I also look forward to the times when my 15 yo dd cuddles with me on the couch after I get home from work. It still happens most days so I consider myself very lucky. :teeth:

I look forward to my 'cup of candy' in the mornings, seeing DD get up and then get home from school (I am always so excited to go get her in the afternoons!), seeing my last client walk out (LOL), settling in at night with our little family, cuddling Nickydog before going to sleep.

My precious kitty passed on this past Monday, so I'm glad to see you appreciating your time with your kitty. I wish I had just five more minutes of snuggle time with Olivia. :guilty: . Give your kitty a little hug for me!......P

I look forward to my cup of coffee every morning and my 20 minutes of me time before the mad rush to get the kids ready begins. :surfweb:

Today I started off on the wrong foot though because my coffee maker revolted. I won in the end....so no worries.

PJilla---Cherish your memories. :goodvibes Pets are wonderful and bring lots of joy. I'm glad you loved your pet. and I'm sorry for your recent loss.

Friday night pizza and Saturday morning coffee. :goodvibes

I look forward to every new day as long as I have my family with me. As long as we are together and happy that is all that matters.

I think I most look forward to my snuggle time with my 3 yr old DD before her bedtime. My other DD is 20 months, so she's at the age where she won't sit still long enough to snuggle her. But, it's a ritual with DD 3 that, before she goes to bed, we read a book, then we snuggle in my bed and watch Emeril on the Food Network for a little while, and then I have to sing her "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", and then she goes to bed.

Mine is about as opposite as it gets!

I look forward to snuggle time at night, with my dog. She'll get on the bed and lay her head on my pillow, and I'll spoon her. Sometimes she lays the other way, and DH gets her back, and then I get her stinky paws.

We do get snuggle time in the morning too, but it usually involves her jumping on our bed to wake us up, shoving her babies into our faces.

Other than leaving work for home? Some good ol' snuggle, and play time with my baby...a two year old black lab named Breaker, and getting some good hugs from my wife.

Your dog is a real cutie, and I just now figured out what is on her nose. For the longest time I thought she had splotches of mustard on her nose, but I see now that they are Goldfish! :)

Let's see, what do I look forward to every day?

Driving in my Beetle, all by myself, listening to and singing along with Jimmy Buffett. Driving DD15 to and from the dance studio, chatting and hearing all about her day at school. She also likes to plug her IPod into my car and share her music. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's, um, I'm not quite sure how to explain it. :rotfl:

Opening a can of Pepsi and pouring it over ice in a glass.

Dessert. :lmao: :lmao:

Kitty Henry jumping up by my keyboard and butting me with his head. :goodvibes

Evenings when everyone is home and we're all going about our regular routine. It's comforting and all is right with the world! :goodvibes

I look forward to my Unsolved Mysteries lunch hour. Every day, unless there's a major crisis, I leave my laptop behind, fix myself some lunch, and settle in for an hour of mindless TV. Sometimes one of the cats will come up for a snuggle. It's my hour of peace during the day.

I also look forward to DH coming home.

I look forward to going home at the end of the day ;)

And to any snuggles and cuddles I can get from my kitties. Especially if it's Sienna giving the snuggles, because she's very independant and getting cuddles from her is a special treat. :)

What a great thread :goodvibes

I look forward to going home after work every day and spending time talking to DH and eating dinner together.

WEEKENDS!!! They take forever to get here and go by too fast, so they are precious :cloud9:
