these recipes are making me hungry
Here is a crock pot recipe for Pot roast that will be the last you will ever try!
3 pound roast (or 2 smaller ones)
1 envelope ranch salad dressing mix
1 envelope italian salad dressing mix
1 envelope brown gravy mix
1/2 cup water
Place the roast in the crock pot. In a small bowl, mix the rest of the ingredients together, and pour over the roast. Cook on low about 6-8 hours depending on your crock pot.
I usually put some carrots on the bottom of the crockpot first, and then do the meat and gravy, and then put potatoes on top and let it all cook.
This is so yummy!!!
I have been doing this for a while now, but I am always afraid to put the ranch packet in, so I just do the italian and brown gravy...I guess next time I will take the plunge and do the ranch too!!!

[Anyone with a good Chicken and Dumpling Recipe for the crock pot? I've always just done it on the stove - its quite time consuming that way.
Thanks for the Recipes!!![]()
