What do you like to eat that others find disgusting?

Raw chopmeat. Anytime my DH has it ready to make meat loaf or meatballs, I always steal some. I try to seal it up like it wasn never opened!

A raw quahog (hard shell clam) with a little bit of tobasco. Dig it out of the mud, cut it open with a good shucking knife with a squirt of tobasco on top....mmmm good. Chase it down with an ice cold beer.....summers just around the corner.

I love fried liver and onions
the only time that I can have them in my house is around my birthday. if I make it, everyone is in the opposite end of the house and says eeeeew!
My dad use to make it for me growing up- he knew how to make it right, and we would eat it together while my brothers and mother would make faces and noises all thru dinner

I like them, but not as runny as the traditionally are. A little runny is ok, though. Sounds good! Too bad I'm sick or I'd make them for dinner. My 15yo son was just asking about them a few days ago.

One of my favorite lunches pretty much leaves my family recoiling in horror whenever they see me eat it. It's a little thing I like to call Tuna Nachos.

Simple, really - just tuna straight out of the can, mixed with mayo, dolloped onto tortilla chips on a plate, cheddar cheese shredded on top, then under the broiler for a couple of minutes. I think it's delcious, but obviously nobody in my house agrees.

So, have you got anything you consider a delicacy that others are horrified at the thought of?

Yes, whenever we are on a cruise, I always order escargot. My wife thinks it is disgusting to eat snails. But I luv em.

My absolute favorite dish from my childhood is Spam casserole. My dad, brother, and DH think I am crazy for loving it so much. I think my mom threw some stuff together for dinner when she didn't have anything else on hand- nobody else likes it, but I think it is the best thing ever. Spam sliced into strips, mixed with sauteed onions, boiled potatoes, and cream of mushroom soup. Mmm, mmm, good! Also love Spam salad- made like ham salad/deviled ham, but with Spam. Yum!

I also love venison (deer) liver. But it has to be fresh.
Also, venison carpaccio (raw also)
Sushi, raw shellfish.

I believe that peanuts in coke thing is a southern tradition. To do it right, it should really be glass bottle of coke, and *never* pepsi.

Very true...I love Pepsi..but NOT with my peanuts.

I suppose that some people would think that tofu is disgusting, but my family doesn't. Some of us also love black licorice, especially me. Love the sweet dutch black licorice!

I LOVE black licorice. My mom is the only other person I know that likes it. My dh won't come near me when I eat it. lol

I can't really think of any other strange things I like, but my mom loves peanut butter and Miracle Whip sandwiches.

I do that too!!!! It gives the sandwich a nice crunch

I also eat banana & potato chips sandwiches.

Wheat bread coated in mustard with american cheese, hamburger dill pickles and yellow pickled peppers. It is the most amazing sandwich I ate about 2x a day when I was preggo with my ds.

This is not nearly as gross but it disgusts everyone in my family - Peeps! But they have to be stale. As soon as I get them I cut them open and leave them out for about 2-3 days and then eat them

I also have a really bad habit of drinking the pickle juice after the pickles are gone
