What do you like on PASTA?

What kind of noodle do you like and with what on it?
 
I've heard of this fettucine and alfredo combination that sounds good.
 
Thick meat sauce with lots of parmesan cheese and lots of garlic and onions!! I will usually saute the garlic and onions first, and then add in the ground beef and mix it all up. Then I dump the pasta sauce into that pan with the meat and veggies and pour in the parmesan cheese and mix it all together so it's thick!!

And then I dump it on top of thin spaghetti (spaghettini).

When I was about 8 I had awesome spaghetti with bay shrimp in the sauce. I though is was awesome and realized I do like shirmp. It was at a friends house before we trick or treated. I told my mom I liked it she called friend's mom for recipes.

It wasn't anything but butter and bay shrimo over the pasts. Yum Yum good!
 
Oh my god! There's too many to count.
1. Angel hair w/ olive oil, garlic and pepper flakes(my go to dinner)
2. Penne/Buccatini with ammatriciana sauce
3. Angel hair with marinara
4. Penne/Rotini w/ bolognese sauce
5. Lasagna noodles w/lasagna...

I could go on, but I'll stop there.
 
Mmmm, I love this thread!!

I like to go with olive oil,pine nuts,garlic(lots of garlic), and spinach over angel hair pasta with chicken cut up and red pepper flakes shook on it!

I also like to do penne with sweet sausage and peaches with lots of basil an olive oil!

I like regular spaghetti with a nice marinara sauce, I like a good rotini with Pesto sauce, I like any pasta with a great Alfredo sauce...I love Alfredo. I really like Alfredo with shrimp in it. mmmmmmmm
I have to have good bread with it too. And a nice glass of wine. LOL
 
Not unless Wine country trattoria serves kraft mac and cheese..

The stouffer's mac is cheese is yum!! If it wasn't so bad, I'd eat it all the time.

Another one- spaghetti or linguine with grilled chicken, frsh diced tomato and basil.
 
pasta shells with pesto, sun dried tomatoes and artichoke hearts. Fettuccine Alfredo is amazing as well.

Add a half stick of butter to that, a half cup of red wine, and mix some Parmesan in with your sauce, these little tidbits really add flavor!
 
I was thinking sausage in any way is great on linguine.
 
Any type of pasta with browned butter and mizithra cheese....like they serve at Spaghetti Factory. I actually prefer the bb&mc over broccoli, which is how SF serves it. You can tell where my kids like to eat.
