What do you like at Flame Tree or Yak CS?

Going to AK in May and will either eat at Flame Tree or Yak and Yeti so looking for some things people really like. Thanks.

We love Flame Tree and have lunch there every time we go. The chicken and ribs are really good, as is the cornbread muffins. I've heard many good things about FTB on the boards and it's seemed to be very well liked by many people.

Had Yak & Yeti CS last year, I think I had the Sweet & Sour Ckn or something like that (don't really remember). It was good, but nothing really special or any different than any similiar fast food I've gotten before.

Are the chicken and ribs at Flame Tree better than Cosmic Ray's at MK? Just wondering.

I would like to know if the chichen and ribs are like the ones at Cosmic Rays as well.

I usually get the chicken at Flame Tree and really enjoy it. At Yak, DH and I split an order of egg rolls and each had a chicken salad. The friends we were with split a sweet/sour chicken and an order of rice. We all thought the food was okay, not great. It's equivalent to Panda Express.

My DD 9 loves rice so we usually stop there for an afternoon snack. Hard to believe but not many places in WDW serve a rice dish and I'm hard pressed to think of any CS places that serve rice. That said we get the egg roll and have found that to be pretty small and under filled.

Lunch is always FTB when we are at AK. Plenty of food and all very good. Lots of places to sit.

Hate the overly aggressive birds, very scary. Not happy with the non-compliant people who feed them, encouraging that behaviour.

We didn't really care for yak and yeti. There were 5 of us and we each had something different, I can't remember what it was, just I didn't like it.

We ate at Flame Tree a few years ago and really did not like the food - DH is a huge BBQ guy and he also did not care for it. This last trip we tried the Yak CS - DH had the honey chicken which he thought was fine. I tried the shrimp lo mein, which indeed had a "shrimp lo mein" label on it and it did not have a single piece of shrimp in it...so it was really just veggie lo mein. It was ok but I was a bit disappointed in the no shrimp. We probably will not eat at either this time around. We generally have had a better experience at Pizzafari with their sandwiches.

Everything at Flame tree is good. I've had the ribs, chicken and pulled pork sandwich and enjoyed them all.

The only thing I've had at Yak and Yeti were egg rolls and they were ok.

I would pick Flame tree hand down over Yak and Yeti.

We had a problem with the birds when we were there too!
