beanie just sent me a pic of her cute kitchen!! On top of the beautiful slab granite counter, she had what I believe were cupcakes! I can't believe she had those sitting out tempting me like that!! Why- I wouldn't be surpised if she woke up tomorrow and found one missing over nite!! And I just know she'sd ask me to take of picture of me and send it to her! Then I would be caught- because there'd be icing all over my mouth!! Of course- not one would go into her mouth because she has a will of STEEL! I wish I was like that!

I just want to say thanks to Jiminy ( wasn't that who set the pm buddies up?!?) for setting up pm buddies! I think this was the BEST idea. I have come to know beanie pretty well. We have a lot in common- it actually amazes me how much we have in common. AS I said in another thread- beanie is a great support and has such a good sense of humor. I love that she responds as best she can to everyone's posts. Beanie is a positive person- I have very rarely seen her down. Actually- I don't think I've ever seen her down. She has helped me to appreciate myself and taught me to be easier on myself- and that really helps when you eat cupcakes you're not supposed too!!! Thanks beanie! I really am counting my blessings- and you're right there at the top! I am really excited about meeting her at WISHCon 2005!!

However, I do have a good friend in the neighborhood who I PM/Email with, take walks with, (occasionally we've been talking each other more out of that drink than to join for that drink), talk on the phone with, hang with, etc. All the things friends do but she is also my WISH buddy. She makes me feel good about myself; takes the time to weigh me (cos I wouldnt do it myself) and this morn will take my measurements. Thanks Tammie

I also have a cruise WISH buddy - we're gonna do it Bev - we'll be on the Magic 11/8 dancing off our butts!

Luckymommyx2 is a sweetie. She and I have the same problem of struggling with what we can eat, and then beat ourselves up over cheating big time. Funny thing is we both can't understand why we aren't as forging to ourselves as we are to eachother Does that make sense? She is a sweetheart and kind as can be


Zurgswife- man the woman has determination. Honey if I had a life as busy as you I would be in a wheelchair. She is supermom and I think she is incredible. I am so proud of her, because no matter what she keeps going and trying. This woman is not a quitter, even if sometimes she thinks so...I relly admire her


Kabuli1 is pretty new on the WISH board, but she really has it going. She is really encouraging to me and is great inspiration. I love to get her pms because she is always so cheerful and happy (unlike gloomy me) I know she is going to succeed and do well. She is determined and I am glad we got matched up.


All three are great people and help me to keep in line. The three are determined to stay healthy and get fit, and I am proud of them

a pm buddy is someone we have been assigned to to help each other through the rough times on our weight loss plans. Jiminy102 has paired us up. SHe has started a new thread for newbies that don't have one yet. SHe'll match you with someone that has a similar amount of weight to lose. Then you pm (personal message) each other through the site to help and encourage each other. It is a really great idea and has helped me lots!

I ended up with 4 PM buddies!!!!

My original buddy Already Excited Grammy is the BEST buddy Jiminy could have assigned. She checks in on me and has such a strength and determination that when I think I might slack, I think of her and get back on track. She's awesome at helping me refocus and I feel badly because I have been so crazy busy with work since we began the buddy program that I feel I have not repaid her half the inspiration she has given me.

Since her daughter is ohMom and ohMom's buddy TigH and I had been PMing each other prior to the PM buddy idea, we all became buddies. And jimmytammy was introduced by.....oh my goodness I think it was Tig or it could have been ohMom, I'm not sure. But whoever it was, she is a wonderful addition to our circle. And we've actually become e-mail buddies which works better since I work in sales and can access e-mail but not the internet while I'm on the road. I LOVE LOVE LOVE hearing my blackberry beep and looking down to see a message from one of the WISH buddies!!!!!

Anyhow, there are 5 of us now and we are awesome together.

I must echo everyone else and say Thanks Jiminy!!!! It was a GREAT idea!!!!

Awww Karen, you made me sniffle with this post!! What a wonderful thread to read!! I could say the same exact things about you, so I will!

Karen is a wonderful friend, supporter and motivator!! She encourages me each day to stay on plan and always has an uplifting pm to send me! Each day I look forward to talking to her and learning more about her and her family! We really do have so much in common and I feel like she is a long lost friend that I have found once again! It amazes me how much I can talk to her each night and we never run out of things to say! I am thankful to have her in my life daily and I couldn't ask for a better PM Buddy, but more than that, she is a dear friend! Hugs Karebear!

As for those cupcakes, they were actually corn muffins that I made for DH...those are his favorite, so I surprised him with them yesterday! I don't care for them, as they are too dry for my tastes, so there is definitely no temptation there! LOL

My original PM buddy, Jody is awesome, she is my soul-sister! Jody is always there for me, and is just truly amazing. We have grown very close, and she means the world to me. She always has kind words, wonderful suggestions, and every so ofen when I need it, provides a swift kick right when I need it! She is very thoughtful, caring and giving!!!! Her success has been very inspiring.

Holly is simply amazing, she writes daily to check on me. She always asks how I am doing and is incredibly supportive. I think she has a sleeping disorder though.... she is always up way too early and I can barely ever PM her first! LOL!!!

Kathy is wonderful. SHe calls me "KIDDO!!!" I love that! She will surprise me with messages that are very thoughtfull and I can tell she "knows" me! she has had wonderful success with WW and that is great to see!

Moli has been a strength and encouragement for me. She has her own struggles, but yet gives so much of herself for all those she loves. She is always upbeat and full of life and love!!!

Bev, what can I say, she lifted me up when I was down. She helped me feel worthy. She prayed for me, when I needed it, and I felt her prayers. She has amazing courage, strength, and love that touches all those that she meets. Truly a blessing in my life!

are the strength behind my success in my WW program! Many a morning have I not wanted to put on my jogging shoes, but it seemed like more effort to come up with an excuse to tell my buddy circle! No way could I find a good enough reason as to why I didn't exercise when I knew they probably were walking on their treadmills at that exact moment!

My email PM buddy circle is just what I need - inspiration, accountability, daily checks and lots of smiles. I love these ladies, thanks friends

my original PM buddy - TigH - well sometimes I think we are sooo alike it's almost spooky. She boosts me up when I need to kick it up, and she's been a shoulder when I needed one. She always forgives me, which helps me forgive myself instead of beating myself up which in the past led to binging and giving up. Her funnies, well, they make me laugh and who doesn't need more laughs in their life? maybe i'm mushy here b/c I miss her! come home soon Karen!

Vija - you are too kind. You are a super lady and i'm glad you're part of my encouragment and inspiration!

Jiminy - thanks so much for organizing this system! it's really helped me stick to my program and dust myself off and move on after a bad day

Well, just when I told my buddies I was veggin for the rest of the evening I stopped by for a quick peek to see what has been happening this weekend and now I 'm sitting here "mushing".

Thanks all around from me too! Jiminy for just knowing that pm buddies is one of the best things to keep accountability at its highest!

AnnieT - She is such a sweetie (and have you checked out that smile on her posted pix) I just "hear" her talking to me and it's always just what I need and when I need it. And now I'll know that shes wearing one of those great smiles when that blackberry dings and its me!

Next came, TigH because Ohmom was willing to share her gem! And TigH said "wait, I got another great bud too - Tammyjimmy -
and Tammy and I, well we treadmill together (okay so it is a few miles a part) but I swear I see her almost every morning - working her tush off!

And of course Ohmom, she and I love to razz one another, and shoot I love it too! It is so nice to be a mom/friend - yeah she is wonderful "cheerleader" too!

So you see my circle buddies are so extra special I couldn't say enough about them but I can say "love you all". And Ohmom you are right - there are times I am thinking "how can I tell my buds...........so guess what, I re-think and that's how I have lost those pounds so far, accountability to all of you

And Princess Vija - Thanks for your very kind words, too! I am so glad that I had some words of encouragement and I just love your new attitude - cause you will make it!!

You know there is just so much WISH support that everytime I read posts that make me smile, laugh, think whoa------, I just say a thank you for letting me find all of you and share the getting healthy journey together!
