What do you keep living room window sill?

Lots of plants. I have plants all over the house. It's become a hobby for me.

I don't have any usable windowsills in my house. We have plantation shutters.

I have a bookcase built around our window and it houses lots and lots of books, some box set DVDs, photos and keepsakes that we've picked up during travels.

Nothing. Both widows are basic sliding windows, no sill to put anything on.

nothing! really don't like anything cluttering up the view.

I don't have a living room, but have a family room with 2 windows with sills.....and nothing is one them.
Usually the grand kitty when she visits
