I have a friend that is having an Intimate Wedding in September. She was a little baffled by the list of things that she was to supply. Has anyone done an Intimate at the WP that would be willing to explain the supplies they had to bring? Thanks in advance.

We had an intimate wedding at the Polynesian Resort and we had to bring nothing. They provided all the chairs, tables, plate, eating utensils, glasses, and serving set. The only thing we brought was our own toasting glasses.

Thanks for the quick reply. She seems to think after receiving the papers that she needs to bring a table, plates, utensils, glasses, water, a box for the cake, and I can't remember what else! Perhaps I need to read the papers myself. Was there an extra charge for anything? I know she is going the least expensive way she can. Vickie

No, she must be confused. You do not need any of that. You may provide your own toasting flutes and cake cutting set if you like. But you certainly do not need a table or plates or anything like that!

We had an intimate wedding at the WP, other than ourselves and our guests;) we brought a CD (to use instead of the organ), our marriage license and extra copy of our ceremony, a ring pillow/rings, and a basket with rose petals. For the reception we didn't bring anything extra - Disney supplies the cake server set and champagne flutes unless you bring your own. And the cake topper is included in the package. It's all very easy - the only thing you absolutely *have* to get on your own is the marriage license, that's it.

Thanks for all the responses. I work with her on Friday night and she is bringing in all her paperwork. Hopefully we will get it straightened out then. I'll let you all know! Vickie

I finally got to read the papers she was sent. I can see where she got the idea that she had to supply the list, but I believe it's more of a "work order" / "purchase order" that includes everything. It lists things under "Please Provide" that the contract is requesting the reception location provide. Did that make sense? Anyway.... thanks for all the responses. I made her feel MUCH better about everything after I told her about your responses! Vickie
