What do you HAVE to do today?

Well, I would rather do any of the things in the posts above me than do what I HAVE to do today. I am on call this week and we have no third shift person at one of our group homes....so I had to do the overnight last night into this morning and I have to go back in to work at 10:30 tonite and work until 9am tomorrow. Anyone else want to join me?

Add to this misery the fact that this is the first year in about the past 20 that I actually had something I REALLY wanted to do tonite. We recently moved to Asheville NC and have found a wonderful group of friends. Well the gang is having a party to which Lisa and I are invited. We are going.....she for the full evening, and me for the part of it that I am able to attend. It is killing me to have to tear myself away......

We have a tradition of eating shrimp NYE. I forgot to buy the shrimp.

DD11 nearly fainted when I said I didn't feel like going out the grocery store. Guess I am going to Cubs.

Today I had to get the house in company order with the kids under my feet.My group of about 8 turned into 30 people.And 14 kids.I have lost my mind.........
