During our last trip, we had all the characters sign the kids Mickey Ear hats (brought a silver sharpie with us!)& The year before we had them sign baseballs& I'd like to find something unique to have them sign that the kids can keep on display in their rooms. Any suggestions?

We just went to Aulani last month and I brought two photo frame mats. I got signatures at the character breakfast and various M&Gs. Along one side I put scrapbook stickers that read "Aulani 2013." I gave one mat to my sister (who was travelling with us), and I'll use the other myself for a family photo we took with Minnie.

Maybe a stuffed animal, like the ones people sign at graduations or birthdays? I've seen people get their custom t-shirts signed, which is easier since you can easily stuff it into your bag.

My secret Santa last year got me a pad of Disney notes with characters and quotes. I brought those with me in my last trip to have characters sign to put in a scrapbook. I was able to have done that matched (Alice and the fab 5 all signed in their own.
Another idea is a pillowcase.

We made photo books online using pictures of ds & dd with characters from past trips. They came out really cute! Can't wait to use them at the end of the month.

Normally the sig books, we have also done the 9" plain vinylmations. On the Disney Cruise, you can get a mat signed. We got a 11x14 mat, included some Lindt Chocolate in the bag as a thank you. Got 24 sigs! You turn it in at GSs and they return it your last night of the cruise.

I scrapbook so I go to hobby lobby or michaels and get the 4x6 card stock pads in the bright colors. Easy pages- autograph, picture and a little something else:)

We always do the Disney autograph books & then display that in their room. You can slightly open the books & display on it's side. We get the ones where you can slide photos into too. It's so nice that we always casually flip through the books during bedtime or whenever we're just hanging in their rooms.

We had them sign pillowcases. The kids love being able to go to sleep with their friends right there!

Last trip we had shirts made and the characters signed the shirts! The kids loved it. Just know characters can not sign the shirt while it is on your body.

Shrinky dinks! You can get them in a variety of colors, and wholesale at about 50c a page. I bring with me a pile of white circles for the characters to sign, and when I get home, I cut out 4 mickey heads per page (in black), shrink everything, and glue them together. I then take a glass ball Christmas ornament, decorate it, and attach the shrunken dink to the front and sell each for 5 bucks for a local children's charity around Christmas. It's cute, costs me about a buck a piece, is a blast to do, and is for a good cause. Clearly you don't have to do it this way, but there is any number of things you can do with shrunken dinks, jewelry, sun-catchers, put together a scrap booking collage, do a mobile... the possibilities are endless.

 LOVE this idea!

One fun idea my DD did was bring a pair of white Converse Chuck Taylors and had her faves sign in different color sharpies. It was a great conversation starter with characters and a cute display for her room.

My 7dd actually came up with this one! She has been saving and purchasing as many of the Disney hard back golden books she can. They are only like $3.99 and pretty thin and light so they won't take up much room. She is going to have each character sign their book and can even keep them for when she has kids some day! I thought it was a great idea! So far she has Jake and the NL Pirates, Monsters Inc., and Wreck It Ralph. She it planning on getting quite a few more before our trip. Kind of helps build anticipation for the trip too, collecting for her goal. (Just going to have to plann which books to take to which parks. So I don't have to carry more than a few each day. Luckily they are light!)

I plan to print pictures with each character from our last vacation and have the characters sign them then make a collage. I may look silly asking for autographs at 22 y/o but who cares? ;)

That's ok, I'm 54 and still love getting my autographs and photos taken with the characters. It drives my DH crazy. I like getting the characters to sign a photo mat so i can hang it with my favorite photo.

You can buy the plain vinylmations and have them sign one of those. I know that I have seen them in at least white, black and pink. A lot of brides have done those as a nontraditional guest book.

Oh I had my own autograph book last time! I actually kept telling everyone it was for the baby. But truth be told, it was mine! This year all kids (and now baby isn't a baby) have their own autograph books and I still got my own. Too much fun! I like to scan the autographs & place them in my photo album with the pictures. The blue Disney autograph book has plain white pages & is perfect for this!
