What do you have planned for the weekend??

Well I have already been to DS's high soccer game, followed by high football game where both DS and DD play in the band. Saturday is a band festival. Sunday DD's choir sings at 9:30 church, then practice 5 - 6, then youth group 6 - 8. So, basically, I chauffer my kids.

I am going on a road rally-type race! This may sound silly to many people, but here in New Jersey, this weekend is an event called "Lighthouse 2002" - the goal is to visit all 11 New Jersey lighthouses over the weekend, and possibly win prizes! You get a special sticker at each lighthouse to prove you visited it. If you get all 11, then you "win" the challenge. Thousands of cars participated last year!

Well, I'm heading to the garage to rev' up the motor on my Honda, and fill my change holder with coins for the Parkway!

I miss all those events with my kids!

Sooo...my sis is bringing my niece and nephews (a 10 year-old & triplets - almost 5) over and we will take them to a school carnival. Late afternoon, DH & I are going to a friends house for a Giants party (first game of the WS!).
The 10 year-old nephew will probably stay overnight, so Mom & I will take him to church on Sunday morning, then I'll take him home. Sunday evening, we'll have our friends over to watch the 2nd WS game at our house.

We hope that it's a GIANTS weekend!!!

I'll be doing some stuff for classes, work running crew for the play I've been involved with this month, and celebrating my 21st birthday. (Don't worry, I only want one drink- no desire to get drunk!)

DH and I are both working today. Tomorrow I hope nothing.

Pretty quiet around here this weekend. Shuttled DD to her Girl Scout activities last night and ended up getting home pretty late. Today is mostly garden and barn chores - coupled with a whole lot of time just playing on the computer!

Sunday I plan to do some cooking for the week, laundry, and watch movies.

Waitressing a wedding late this afternooon
S.O. has been out of the country for a week on business and he fllies in tonight. Then he leaves for two weeks for more business stuff. So needless to say I want a quiet weekend since I won't see him for a while. A fire will be nice sometime this weekend.

Mid-terms are over...yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! We only had one...Biology. I have to start on a 6-8 page research paper for English which is due on Thursday. But DS and I are playing Scrabble first!

Tonight we are going to the Raffle Dinner that my son's basketball team is sponsoring at Hillsdale College. Should be a lot of fun....and good food!!!!
