What do you hate most about going to WDW? (gasp)

#1 Leaving :( (Like a lot of other folks on this thread)

#2 Kids screaming & making lots of noise in the room next to you. Their parents, of course, ignore everything.

#3 Lines, Lines Lines!!

Parade line ropes!!! When you're sitting there behind the rope, and someone's little kid up the line HAS to hang on it, swing on it...pull it up and let it snap, pull it down and let it snap...I've been hit in the face by a twanging rope...and another time almost had my camera snapped right out of my hands!! The parents, of course, are ALWAYS oblivious to the annoyance to others, even when it's OBVIOUS, as 20 or more sets of hands go up to hold the rope stationary!! Arghhhh!!!

I had that happen last trip. The mother was also oblivious so I made it known to her. I yelled down to her that her kid was hitting all of us in the face with the rope and to tell him to knowck it off. She looked down and saw 10 angry faces and immedietely picked the kid up and left. Instead of dealing with the pain in the rear kid, I deal with the mom!

All the damn birds!

I'm with you aahmom. Can't stand birds, they are like flying rats. :( (sorry in advance to any bird lovers!)

The flight - waiting in liine, going through the metal detector etc etc. I hate flying.

We got caught in a thunderstorm last year without umbrellas. Tried to wait it out at UK pavillion. After looking at the same bottle of perfume for the third time we bought new ponchos (already had a pair in our hotel room) and launched ourselves into the rain. The rain stopped just as we got to BWV. Aaaargh.

People who think that children at WDW automatically take precedence over adults - my mom waited her whole life to go to WDW and meet Mickey - we waited in line for pictures for 40mins - and when mom was posing so I could snap a picture someone rudely behind me said "she should have waited until all the little ones had their turns"

Folks that let their toddlers go up to the soda/coffee station at the ASMov and didn't watch them - there was boiling water and coffee - I cringed every time I saw a near mishap with someone not seeing a toddler and almost nosediving into them with a hot beverage.

Tall people that park themselves directly in front of me at shows/parades. :(

Not winning lotto yet so I can spend a month at WDW!!

Strollers, especially double wide ones. And seeing kids pushed too much to "have fun". We were returning to FW on the boat and it was filled with tired, cranky, crying kids. I thought to myself that they had a full day, but now they can go back and eat and rest. No, they were all headed to Hoop-Dee-Doo:eek:

Flying is my biggest pet peeve particularly after this last trip. We flew with a certain airline based in Dallas and we were bumped, moved from gate to gate and DS almost had to sit alone. This added to the long lines, bad airport food, long waits and uncomfortable flights made it all quite miserable for us.

I also dislike the lines at buffets. Some people seem to need to study each food item slowly and then pick out the perfect morsels while a line that gets steadily longer forms behind them. Come on, get your food already!

My worst problem though is the cost. Everything costs so much that it's getting harder and harder to plan a reasonably priced trip.

a lot of this has been mentioned already but here goes
flight home [last time had little kid behind us singing "Batman stinks" for 2 hours kicking the seat the whole time] [no parents with him or his little sister---flight attendent did try to control him but he would only stop when she was within 3 rows of his seat]

wheel chairs [we were the users]
once with my disabled DM. We got to put the wheelchair in a special roped off area for the parade and actually had people try to get in front of us. Another time my DW had just had foot surgery and could not be on her feet for long periods. At one point she left the chair outside a store for a while as she shopped. Several teenagers tried to take the chair [tried to see how many of them could sit in it at the same time]. Thank God they did not break it.

Smokers. As a smoker myself I find it unconciousable to force my smoke on others and my pet peeve is to see cigarette filters floating in water or all over the ground. I put mine out and discard in nearest trash can. And I always make sure they are all the way out, field strip as I was instructed to do when I was in the service. I will put filter in my pocket if necessary until I get to a trash can. [many times finding some still in my pocket later that day or night]

The crowds in MK. I always feel like cattle going out to pasture.

The birds are a close second.

i also have to say the flight. Though its only a 2 hr trip for me, I have Meneries, (inner ear disorder) and the pressure bothers me alot!

People that AREN'T in a good mood, are cranky and Rude and demanding to the CM's.
You are in Disney!!!! How can you NOT be HAPPY????
I don't want to be around unhappy people.

Probably gonna "get it" for this one but, FLAG PEOPLE who don't keep up with their groups!?

I hate going home. But also parents who push their little ones up to see the characters when it is ovious that the little one does not want any part of it. Or when they yell at the CM who is taking the character away "Wait a minute MY child wants a picture" and the kid is screaming to get away.

Oh yeah... and... I strongly dislike those parents who think that just because you don't have any kids, you can't get pictures with the characters. We were at MNSSHP last year and my friend and I were in line to get a picture with Eeyore. We had 3 parents try to get in front of us "because they had kids".

My first thought was Coming Home. Then I opened the thread and remembered those D*&^ birds! One took my fry right out of my hand! We ate INSIDE after that.

I'd also have to say all the walking! LOL!!! You just get so tired. :);)

1) Leaving!!!

2) People who feed the birds while waiting for the parade. Like the rest us care to be assaulted while we're waiting!

3) The rope twanging thing...people get a clue!

4) People that feel that every like thing entitles them to compensation! "It raining for ten minutes during my trip and ruining everything! I want my whole trip comped." etc. Lighten up people, sh*t happen!!!!!

Our biggest frustration the last trip happened at EPCOT. We were looking for a place to sit to watch the fireworks. There was about 50 feet open at the fence - my family of four sat down - children in front and us behind them when out of no where this kid (maybe 10 years old) came running over and said this spot is saved. Well we looked around us and there was PLENTY of space for more people to join us so we politely said - "saved for who?" and he said my family. Well my hubby and I looked at each other and I said, I think there is probably enough room - well slide down if we need too. Well we watched this poor guy run back and forth trying to save this space. Some people left, some stayed. Then his family of about 10 people came and got mad at HIM for not saving "their" space. I felt so sorry for this guy. Instead of fitting into the left over space - which there was still room if they had stacked - they left to find somewhere else to sit. They told us - ALL of them wanted a front row seat

Of course, everytrip, we hate packing up the camper and leaving.

I agree with you on that one.

How about the people who get upset because they didn't get the room they REQUESTED?
"I requested XYZ when I booked, I faxed my request 4 days in advance and none of my request were honored."

One other thing. How can people stand in a long line at a counter service restaurant, get to the cashier and have NO IDEA what they want to order??? This happen to me at both Pecos Bills and Casey's.
