What do you hate most about going to WDW? (gasp)

I hate not having a WDW trip planned for this year ....leaving the happiest place on Earth!!
Being at WDW the things I hate are STROLLERS!!!!!! my poor feet are so abused.......small children who are not watched by their parents....pushy people...and in honor of my vegetarian roommate...not enough choices for non meat eaters!!! You can only eat so much salad!!
my number one is when you take a friend on a trip to WDW and they don't smile for the whole week!! It's Disney World how can you not smile!!! Isn't it against the rules to not smile at WDW!? Can't you feel the magic!!!

Pool hoppers and people who reuse refillable mugs....;) Just Kidding!!

Actually our real pet peeves are:

1. The heat in the summer/fall (after a September trip we decided to confine our touring to Nov-April/early May)

2. Those scary birds in Frontierland

3. When people smoke in areas other than the designated smoking areas

The rude people and parents. I know this is behavior that can be found anywhere, but it majorly bothers me when i am waiting patiently in line to get a pic with a character and some 4 year old runs ahead of me. The parent does not care nor really pays attention, they are just so splendid to see their kid spend time with Tigger (and that isn't a bad thing but...) i get a little annoyed. I will be waiting in line...half the time I started the line, but then another forms and i get pushed back. The foreginers are probably the worst when it comes to this. They act like they don't get it, when i'm sure a large amount of them do.

To add, going home for me majorly sucks too. It absolutly hurts to leave the resort that last day, or to even wake up that morning or go to bed the night before knowing the dreadful trip home is coming way too soon. :(

4) People that feel that every like thing entitles them to compensation! "It raining for ten minutes during my trip and ruining everything! I want my whole trip comped." etc. Lighten up people, sh*t happen!!!!!

What's funny is that some people actually believe that when it rains, a dome covers all of Disney to keep it from getting inside. HAHA right.

Leaving: In 1999, my DD (then 8) turned to me and said, "Mommy, please don't bring me to DisneyWorld again. It hurts too much to leave." She continues to go and loves it, but that day before we leave, her chin is on the ground, her frown is so big that it hits the ground, and, boy, is she cranky!

As to those parents yelling at their kids. I did that the first time we took the older three ('89). Finally, I looked at the kids-3,4,5- and saw that they were enjoying what I was trying to avoid (MGM parade-you know, skip the parade and do Star Tours). I stood, enjoyed the parade, and vowed, "Never again. We are here to have good, quality, family time." And we do.

Now, I wish we could go during the off-season, but we can't so I guess that would add as something I don't like about WDW. The heat! :p

As an aside. As a teacher, I now know not to judge the parents whose kid is screaming. Maybe, just maybe, the child is autistic. Having dealt with two kidlets for the past 3 years, some fears can't be controlled, and even with much support, stroking, talking, the stimulus of parades, sounds, colours is too much for those kids.

I hate when I have a child sitting behind me on the plane who kicks my chair for 9 hours.

I hate when people take a chair on the bus for their bags when people are standing.

I hate having my luggage weighed at the airport for the flight home:eek: excess baggage doesnt come cheap.;)
