What do you give your husband?

So far, I've bought one of the programmable remotes for the TV/Blu-Ray/Cable box/surround sound system. It's normally $100 and I got it on Black Friday for $50. :)

Whose Line Is It Anyway? "greatest clips" DVD

TV show Chuck on Blu-Ray, season 3

Have ordered a Leverage t-shirt from TNT.com --- if it will ever get here. I've sent 3 "where's my order" requests and have heard ZIP. I'm ticked, but will make them overnight it to me if it doesn't get here soon.

I'm thinking of getting the new Mario Brothers compilation for Wii as a gift from our sons and another Wii-mote and nunchuck to go with it so they can all 3 play at once.

Still have to buy some stocking stuffers.

Dh was SO excited about the first photo book I got him a couple of years ago that I always get him one or two now. He takes them and shows them to his friends. Just couldn't believe that family pictures would wind up in a hardcover BOOK. :rotfl::rotfl: I also got him an ornament from Artscow with our youngest son and our favorite "grand-dog" on it.

This year I got him boots and loafers (he's pretty true to shoe size, but both are from LL Bean for easy returns). The little stinkers mailed them to me in the marked shoe boxes.:mad::mad: So no surprise there I guess. He's the only size 13 living at home.

No clothes this year, but I would typically get him some new long undies.

I wanted to get him a video of a local television series that he appeared on, but Borders didn't have the latest edition, so I used my 50% off coupon for a video series from the 1982 Worlds Fair. He played there almost every day for six months, so I'm sure he'll see interesting things.

We go small and practical;

a shirt and tie set
t-shirt
postage scale (LONG STORY)
We each got some jeans today we needed and we ALWAYS do some type of date. Sometimes just dinner(this year:mad:)and sometimes a week-end away.

We are not stuff people and tend to buy what we need when we need it.

We do out a lot more for the kids however.;)

DH and I bought a new big-screen TV as our gift to each other, but we also settled on a $50 limit so we would at least have a few things to open. So far I got him a book on sports statistics (his passion) and a Sugarland CD. Still looking to spend about $25 more but I haven't found just the right thing, yet.

My hubby always picks out his gifts and I try to surprise him with something... This year I got him an air popper pop corn maker.... we eat tons of popcorn and I thought it was a great idea I hope he does too :) just think of things he likes or does and go with it

This is the one year he gets spoiled he got a new laptop. He also loves popcorn so I got him a table top one. And to boot we went into the popcorn shop this last weekend and he bought the biggest bag they had I was :sad2: thinking please dont only another week. I wanted to scream but oh well. And he is also getting the new driver he wanted. He is the only one working right now so he needs some relaxing time for things he likes to do. I bought a few things on black friday for myself I dont need anything else but the smile on his face.

My husband is out buying his Christmas present FROM me right now. He's buying a composting bin(special one he's been wanting) and a new helmet for riding the scooter I bought him this spring. I handed him my Christmas presents and said, "Go buy me these for Christmas" a week or so ago. I also told him that I ordered a new snowglobe from Neiman Marcus for my Christmas collection. He is going to wrap that for me as well. If you don't get exactly what you want :), it's your own fault!!! lol! There is so much gift giving and receiving, we just prefer to shop this way. I'll stick a slinky pair of boxers in his stocking along with a little game and some chocolate. He usually buys me a CD and something cute for my stocking as well.

DBF is getting thick wool socks, Old Spice deodorant pack (inside joke-- he loves the commercials), vintage Caesars Palace lighter, WWII era toiletry kit, t-shirt, sweater, tie, audiobook about the MIT kids who took down Vegas casino, a very funny Star Trek magnet, vintage Look! magazine from WWII. He has a lot of niche interests (fine clothes, the Rangers, Star Trek, WWII, etc.) and it's really fun to get him lots of little things to fit his tastes. I also bought him Rangers tickets for his birthday, the day after Christmas.

Well, we are going to Disney less than 2 weeks after Christmas and last month we just went to the Virgin Islands so we decided to scale way back on gifts this Christmas, otherwise I'd have gotten him the Breitling watch he's been eyeballing, so, this year it's lots of Lindt chocolate and lots of Raven's Brew coffee(his 2 favorite things) and he wanted a tea kettle (odd, I know, but he uses a french press for his coffee and wanted one to boil water in) and some polar fleece pj's for when it's really cold out.
Our trip to Disney January 7 is really the "Big" Christmas gift for the family. I wish I'd kept it a surprise for the kids now.

I got my husband a pretty nice chainsaw, but there is a little selfishness behind it... I like the fireplace, but he doesn't like to fight his chainsaw to cut up wood. This way..I'm sure he'll want to play with his new "toy"... and I get heat.

He said something about wanting more 2 player XBOX 360 games, so I got him a game.

And I got him a swiss army knife. I'm not sure how he has made it all this time without having one...but saw it on Amazon Lightning and thought... GREAT IDEA!

An Omega Speedmaster. I'm really tired of wiping drool off his chin when we see one. :lmao:

Dh is getting from the kids: dallas cowboys blanket, cowboys pj pants, cowboys house shoes, and a cowboys shirt. haha see a pattern here!

From Santa (aka me) a 16gb 3g Ipad with a case, shields, carry case and a pen thing I found at bed bath and beyond. Stocking will have some small things, a can of peanuts and a bag of jerky!

My husband is getting exciting stuff:
PS3 game
Mich St. U license plate for the front of the car
nice soft ear buds

That's it, but we're also going small this year for each other because we bought a whole living room set in the summer and that was a big gift.
