What do you drive and why did you choose it?

an'07 Lexus 350 ~ the color was right - the price was great & it drives like a dream!

1989 Honda Civic hatchback, because:

It's great on gas (30 mpg).
It cost $500. :thumbsup2

2007 Nissan Armada

We needed a bigger vehicle...it was on sale! Nuff said!:cool1:

I like it alot, but I wanted a Dodge Durango!

2001 Chrysler 300 M. I bought it for the analog clock...Scouts honor.

DD's teacher told me she could not tell time on an analog clock because all the clocks in our house were digital. When I got in the car I took it as a sign:rotfl:

I drive a 2002 Honda Odyssey and chose it because I love Honda's.
My DS was well over 6' tall at the time and he was comfortable in it.
It was the #1 rated mini van
It was not an SUV but would pull our camper

I had wanted one for a long time

I have a 2005 Hyundai Tucson. At the time it seemed like a practical move. I was expecting our 2nd child (which i ended up losing a few months later) and at that time gas was much much cheaper (I want to say no more then $2.00 or so). I love my SUV, it's got a ton of head room, leg room and rides like a dream. The only down side is it gets HORRIBLE gas mileage. My DH has the 2005 Hyundai Sante Fe which he loves, but it gets even worse mileage and he drives 65 miles each way to work so the cost of gas is totally killing us right now. If we had only known at the time we bought them that gas would be going through the roof just a short few months later I would have gotten a smaller car, like an Elantra. Oh well what can you do????

2006 Nissan 350Z convertible (mine)...all black. A fun 2 seater. Not very practical but I don't care.

73 Corvette Stingray (DH) muscle car for week-ends. Gets a whopping 8 miles/gallon and uses *aviation* fuel!

2002 Cadillac Eldorado (ours)...for long trips. Love, love, *love* this car. The ultimate in comfort. Has a fantastic Bose system. Much better than the newer Bose system in the Z. ::yes::

1997 Nissan Quest. Dh spotted it at the dealership. We bought it because we just had our second child, and we wanted a bigger car. We bought it in 2000 w/ 12,000 miles on it. It has been really good to us. It gets about 23 miles per gallon. We are going to hold on to it for another 3 or four years.

We are now looking into the Pontiac Vibe w/ the Toyota motor. It gets about 32 miles per gallon. :)

'07 Avalon. Comfortable, practical, etc. Beginning to look into the Infiniti G35 as our second (fun) car.

2005 Dodge Durango
Always wanted a Durango and we finally bought it new in January of 06' (great deals on last years model in January ;) ). We needed something that could tow a trailer and that would do well during our nasty winters. I absolutely love my Durango or "Baby" as I call him.

2006 Toyota Prius, Barcelona Red (bright!) exterior with beige leather upholstery. 6-CD sound system, GPS, fun to drive and great gas mileage (which varies from 40 all the way to 50mpg, but is usually around 40). I had ALWAYS wanted a bright screaming-red car and wimped out for safe colors. It's only the second car I've ever "ordered" new, all our other cars were used.

I love that car :teeth:.

agnes!

I drive a 2005 Toyota Prius (same as agnes!). Awesome car, very cute, excellent gas mileage (from 40-50 mpg). I highly recommend this car!:thumbsup2

We just got a 2008 Nissan Altima. I chose it because of how it looked. I didnt know what I wanted so I just started watching for cars I liked. More than a few times those turned out to be Altimas. The price was right and we really liked some of the options.

Also have an 03 Honda CRV, because its practical with the kids.

I will be driving a 2008 Honda Odyssey starting tomorrow when we pick it up!!!:dance3: I love it because it's stylish for a minivan and it's large and practical!

I drive an SUV. I "chose" it because DH, feeling it was safer, made me. Well, he pushed for it and he rarely pushes for anything so I couldn't very well say, "no", even though I think they are ugly. Plus, it would be a big help lugging stuff around.

I fell in love with them because they perform well on the snow (nothing I haven't been able to plow through yet), are super-comfy for long trips, and can easily fit strollers (even two of them) that other cars can't with lots of room left over for groceries and crap. Nice to have when buying a big TV or something, too. :)

For a while, I had a summer car and a winter SUV. But it became such a pain making sure I drove each one of them once or twice a week (the batteries die if you leave them sit too long) that my sole means of transport is now the SUV.

'00 Pontiac Montana - I bought it from Mom & Dad, so I know the history and I know how anal my Dad is about maint. They made me a great deal. I was expecting a baby (which I lost right after). We are my elderly MIL's main source of transportation, so we need a vehicle she can get in and out of.

'69 Mustang convertible - It is my dream car. It was, literally, the deal of a life-time. I can pretend I am young, beautiful and hot in it. :)

2008 VW Eos

My DH surprised me and I have always wanted a convertible.

2004 Storm Grey Saturn Ion. I buy Saturns because I hate the games car dealers play with the pricing.

Great Gas Mileage -- Manual Transmission -- 35MPG
