What do you drink on the flight over?

Another juice, diet coke or water girl here :goodvibes I'm afraid you are not getting many different suggestions!

Anything that's still, so water, fruit juice etc.
If I have anything fizzy then I feel like I'm ballooning up and get awful pains, probably the pressure or something? :confused3
Last time I went to WDW I wasn't old enough to drink, however this time I may take advantage. Especially as its a birthday trip!

Usually start with the champagne then onto red wine with the meal and a port with the cheese course, have been known to go onto a bailies or three after that... then let DME drive me!

I'm with you on those pains, gee wizz

Since our 2009 trip I stick to water and make sure I drink lots of it too, fingers crossed not had any of those "pains" since. :thumbsup2

now I am very boring here...I only ever drink water. DH on the other hand will have water also but have wine with the meal (to smother the taste;) ) and also maybe larger or something..:confused3

So obviously no help to you what so ever...:)

I only drink water too :goodvibes

Very similar to me but I'd have more port or wine rather than baileys. :rolleyes1

If I'm not drinking on the flight then I go for Dry Ginger Ale... I love this stuff it's so thirst quenching and a change from coke!

same here when i have to drive when we get there

A nice healthy fizzy drink is fresh orange with tonic and ice, thirst quenching but a bit different. Yummy. :)

lol, never really thought about it that way. I don't normally drink on the flight but I have heard that VA are offering a fruity cocktail on their flights now so may have to give that a try.

OP, I always drink diet coke. Used to take my own when VA served Virgin Cola since it was vile but now they serve Pepsi, I just drink theirs

I'm still taking my own diet coke ... that virgin cola was very very very awful. mind you, I take my own meals too!

I don't drive when we get there but still drink coke or orange juice lemonade things like that

I'm amazed at the strange questions asked on message boards. Have people lost the ability to think for themselves now? Surely the answer to the OP's question is either "whatever you like" or " whatever they have on the drinks trolley".

I'm amazed that some people haven't heard the phrase "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" :rolleyes1

I believe the OP is looking for inspiration rather than just drinking a coke or a glass of water. Maybe something others have been offered different to the norm.
All questions are welcome however strange you think they are, its upto others if they want to reply or not.

I am with the other people who said if they drink fizzy its a nightmare. I swell up so badly. Permit me to go OT for a moment. I find that if you can take an aspirin before you fly it helps with the swelling. Though I would check with GP if you can do this.

If I want alcohol I have wine or a vodka and cranberry juice but overall I tend to stick to water. I buy a couple of those big bottles at the airport.

Once I get to my resort if I have not fallen asleep the minute I get to the room its off the the bar for a celebratory drink.

This is the first time I've been flamed down on these boards. I will drink whatever I like, was looking for a new idea as no idea what's inside those trollies! I can think for myself thank you and you are rude and unhelpful.

I suffer really bad with this, sorry OP but I'm slightly hijacking your thread here :flower3:

Can I ask do you take a dissolvable Asprin?

Dont be put off by the minority on here, in general we are all a friendly bunch as you know:flower3:

I read nearly every thread that is posted on here and although I dont answer to all questions, I often learn things just from reading the comments. An example is this question here, I may have just found a remedy to conquering my intense stomach pains and bloating whilst travelling:thumbsup2

Well said :thumbsup2 Some people just get out of the bed on the wrong side and can't help themselves but the vast majority of us don't mind whatever question is asked and how ever odd it may sound as you can probably guarantee that if you want to ask it them someone else will have wanted to as well :goodvibes

I know this is off topic also but hey...I was only saying to my DH an hour ago about how much flaming down goes on on the US boards..I think the UK boards are so much more friendly..I was looking at one US thread where the lady was flamed by loads of people and tbh I did think after reading her thread 'really, honestly you must be kidding' but as its been said above 'if you can't be nice don't say anything' just leave it and move on!
