In five weeks, well be flying over to Disney! Four weeks left of a very stressful term (and counting!) anyway, I've been thinking about the flight. Now, I don.t drink alcohol on the plane (driving when we land) and I really want something more exciting than cola... So the question is, what do you drink on the plane .?

We now take ME so we can have a drink on the plane and collect the car the next day :thumbsup2

Much more enjoyable way to travel :goodvibes

now I am very boring here...I only ever drink water. DH on the other hand will have water also but have wine with the meal (to smother the taste;) ) and also maybe larger or something..:confused3

So obviously no help to you what so ever...:)

If I'm not drinking on the flight then I go for Dry Ginger Ale... I love this stuff it's so thirst quenching and a change from coke!

Diet coke and water.
Alcohol is one thing I would like them to charge for on flights, I always feel like I am subsidising someone else to drink. :rotfl:

Mostly water or fruit juice for me.... maybe orange/lemonade and occasionally i will have tomato juice/Worcestershire sauce for something a bit different with a little kick to it (and with the little twizzle stick and a slice of lemon it almost makes it seem like a real drink;))

lol, never really thought about it that way. I don't normally drink on the flight but I have heard that VA are offering a fruity cocktail on their flights now so may have to give that a try.

OP, I always drink diet coke. Used to take my own when VA served Virgin Cola since it was vile but now they serve Pepsi, I just drink theirs

water - and that's in business class...i just drink the bottled water they hand out...

i don't eat or drink anything else...

The fruity cocktail was bleeuuurgh!! Lol I was excited too, but it was warm, half vodka and half orange and grapefruit (I think!). I had to get another cup of apple juice to water it down, then it was drinkable...

I had that, a glass of wine, water, juice and diet coke.

Oh, but when I was plane phobic, I had vodka, vodka, wine, vodka, wine... And sleep. Lol ;)

Like me for example. Thanks Wayne :lmao: By the way, CO/United charge for alcohol in economy cabins :)

I drink wine and water; Lots of water. I don't drink at all whilst in Florida. Not sure why, but it's just a habit I got into from when I first started taking DD when she was much younger - it's mostly because I'm on my own with her I suppose. But I do enjoy my glass of wine before my meal on the plane.

DD drinks orange juice. So we're not particularly exciting.

Apple juice from the can - never drink it except on flights, it's not anything special, but I find it refreshing, and I've sort of gotten into a habit now.
On an overnight flight I might allow myself a beer before the meal.

No driving for us so we have a bacardi and coke and wine with our meal

Only just found out recently that we could have asked for more drinks or serve ourselves as we have only ever had the one drink they offer at take off!

Will definitely being having a couple more Bacardi's this year. :cool1:

If I'm on an american carrier I always have CranApple - yum!!

Otherwise I just have apple juice.

Also we take big bottles of water, as the plane's very dehydrating. One reason why you can feel so rough after a flight.
