when you're home alone, there's nothing on TV, you don't feel like watching a DVD, the computer is boring you, you have nothing to read, you're not tired and you don't feel like cleaning. Also, let's assume that it's pouring rain out and there are flood watches everywhere.

I was in the same boat today. I ended up buying 3 pumpkins for each of my DS' and we spend all afternoon drawing pictures on them and carving

I have a dd, but she's with her father this weekend. Maybe I'll just brave the rain and go to Borders, grab a book and hot cocoa and read in the cafe and people watch. But that means I have to stop being lazy.

I haven't had enough alone time in a long time to pamper myself like that......

It has been pouring all day today here too! I actually induldged in a nap this afternoon. I didn't even shower and dress until 6pm. YIKES!

There's always your Disney home movies or photo albums ! Actually that's when I go looking for my husband Sometimes I'll go shopping, try a new recipe, or clean out that junk drawer.

Rearrange the furniture.

I like to sew, so I might whip up new pillow shams or valances too. We have a denim sofa, so I can change the pillows a lot and still have it match.

The last time my husband took the kids somewhere for an entire day, they barely recognized the living room!
