What do you do with chipboard?

I've been browsing (shopping ) some online sites and saw some Bazzill chipboard circles, etc. What are these used for? I was looking for something different and thought those might be something useful, but I can't figure out what to do with them .

I learned about chipboard at CKC last summer! We covered the chipboard with patterned paper. Use a wet adhesive to attach it. You can either cut the exact size of the paper, or (and this is easier) cut it a bit larger & use fine sandpaper to remove the excess paper. If you brush it downward along the edge, it "cuts" the paper to the correct size and gives the edge an "interesting" look to it - not perfect. Make sure you get the wet adhesive to the edges of the chipboard shape.

Clear as mud, right? Let me know if it doesn't make sense & I'll try again in the morning.

I use the shapes like other decorative squares or circles. Sometimes I'll put a rubon, stamp or a sticker on it. The Crop-A-Dile is supposed to work on chipboard, but I haven't used mine on that way yet.

you can also prime it with gesso and then paint, stamp and ink it. I chip board.

I did a tag album with chipboard class and we used wet glue and glitter (MM's glitter). If you let it dry and put on another layer, it looks really dimensional. Also just liquid chalked some.

I used chipboard letters to do part of a title. I painted them, then used spray adhesive to attached patterned paper and then sanded down the edges like Deb described. The only problem was I got the adhesive all over my hands: it was really messy! Next time I will try a wet adhesive like Mod Podge. I was really happy with the way the page turned out though!

I have used some chipboard, but mostly only pre-embellished chipboard. Would love to see some pics of other suggestions!

I use Scotch Quick Dry tacky adhesive. I love it!

I think the better question is what CAN'T you do with chipboard - I paint it, stamp it, apply rub-ons to it, sand it, etc., etc., etc. I *love* chipboard!

You can also use it for "covers" for mini albums. I love chipboard!!!

Can confirm that Crop-a-dile works with Chip Board. I love it, but it's a headache to cut.

I have a ild obsession with chipbaord letters, I use them for titles so often I'm at a loss how to do them without it!

I have a lot of it. What brand paints do you use on it? Does it matter? Are there certain glues or papers that are better? I have tons of the stuff (we get sheet of it with the math tests at school and all the teachers save it for me since I use it to cut stencils for the students. I can cut it on my craftrobo (Pro- the regular one won't as far as I understand).
