To kill time while waiting for ROFR (not in any special order):
. . . twiddle thumbs
. . . watch grass grow
. . . ponder paint as it dries
. . . stare at laundry as it spins in the little window
. . . wonder if there is "Zen in WDW Touring"
. . . clip my toe nails
. . . count calories
. . . wiggle my ears (yes I can)
. . . think of girls I should have dated in my youth
. . . question what happened to Farrah Fawcett's hair
. . . imagine Mick Jagger prancing on stage at 85 years old
You know about ROFR before you get through the list twice.
We had a three week wait for the ROFR to clear. We used that time to look for other contracts that we might want to purchase if the ROFR was exercised by Disney. Also, I thought up negotiating strategies and how much I would be willing to pay for any given contract, given the points availability, etc.
How do you feel if it doesn't go through? I suppose disappointment is the right word. But it is nice to know that there are lots of contracts out there for sale. Like anything else, be flexible and don't fall in love with a contract...there'll always be another one!
I am waiting on a resale as well. What are the specifics of yours? Mine are 200 BWV, Aug UY, all 200 banked from 2002, all avail 2003. Paid $73/pt and all fees.
Good luck on your resale!!! I posted earlier today and ours passed through ROFR (second attempt - 1st contract was purchased back)!!!! Iit seemed like it took forever - I called The Timeshare Store a few times to check, looked at other resales in case, watched the DVC Video, and waited. You can read my post for specifics - again good luck!
You can always go for another resale if this one doesn't go through That's what we did!
