What do you do when its raining at Disney?

The same thing we would do if it weren't raining. We go to the parks and enjoy our day.

We do too. I bring umbrellas in ziplock bags (teeny umbrellas) for us to use, and then they go back into the ziplock when we go inside. I HATE ponchos, so we don't do those.

In the middle of the day, if our shoes and socks are wet, we go back to the room to dry out for a couple of hours.

I like the rain at Disney- most people leave the parks and it makes the lines shorter for us!!! I won't melt. As long as I carry the stuff, DH is a trooper with me. We just laugh and run!! and try not to do too much in the puddles...

I agree with all of the above, BUT NO MORE PONCHOS for me. DH had his Columbia rain coat and I had a poncho last trip. He was comfy and all and I was. . .more or less dry, but I looked awful.

I will have a comfy, nice rainjacket with me next visit.

AGREE! We got GREAT Eddie Bauer rain jackets. The rain just beads off, and it folds up into a pocket for carrying (so we don't have to wear it all day). That and umbrellas, and we're good to go. PONCHOS are not my friend hahaha. hot, sticky, and a pain. ...no flames from the poncho people please.

We're switching over to rain jackets for our next few trips. Our ponchos are starting to fall apart and a local store makes really great quality stuff out of recycled plastic and we got our hands on three waterproof windbreakers that fold into themselves! Can't wait to try it. It's also a bit more practical than ponchos, too.

Not going to Disneyquest is good idea, that is packed when it rains.

We have friends who reguarly go to Florida to visit relatives. They ONLY go when it rains! To them, rain means "Disney!"
