What do you do to relieve stress?

Myself, I like to curl up with a good book and lose myself in the story. How about you? What do you do?
 
Get a massage, read or sit in the warmth of the sun.............
 
I normally corner either DH in person or my mom on the phone and "throw a crying/screaming tantrum" LOL. I always feel better after venting and then hearing another point of view/advice when done.
 

Depending on my mood, I will either curl up with a book, listen to music, watch a good movie, or (very rarely) haul off and punch something! :teeth: No, I don't punch people, and no, I don't punch walls. It's usually something that will not get damaged or damage me. :thumbsup2

However, my favorite is the book. I adore stories. :)
 
I either read a book, crochet or clean, lol. Depends if it is a tired stressed or a frenetic stressed. The frenetic ones are good because I actually get the house clean from top to bottim.

If my husband is home and he's not the one stressing me out, he gives great hugs and snuggles that usually make me feel at least a bit better.
 
I go for a walk with great music on my iPod or I play Scrabble online by the fireplace, with a cup of hot chocolate. :goodvibes
 
I get into the pool at the local YMCA and swim laps until the stroke/stroke/stroke/breathe zones me out. Usually takes about a mile/mile and a half.
A good beer works too.
 
I like to listen to soft music as a prelude to a nice nap. A soft, steady rain outside the window would be a bonus.
 
I curl up with my laptop, my cat, a box of chocolates, a glass of milk, and my Rocky Horror Picture Show or Newsies.

Couldn't find the cat tonight though.
 
Take a long hot bath or go out with a friend.
 
Depends on the stress but I do a number of different things:

1. I either call my friend or my sister to vent
2. Exercise to my favorite songs
3. Play a computer game
4. In warmer weather I go for a walk
5. Watch a funny movie....laughter many times does the trick!:happytv:
