What do you do to get psyched for your trip??

Hi everyone!! I am going to disney in May. I was wondering what everyone does to get pysched for their trip?!?!!? I usually make a disney CD and play it a few hundred times, and try to watch some disney movies before i go. Any other suggestions???

Read these posts endlessly and look at the pictures people post. I am not going until end of june and can't wait.

I don't do anything to get psyched up for our trip. I'm usually trying to find a way to not get too excited, too far in advance.

I am always in a total stated of psychdom , even when a trip is not being planned. I need a way to unpsych myself so my family can live with me, lol.

I come on here to read, I listen to a couple of park CDs, I listen to Park Hopper Radio....basically anything that makes me realize that sometimes time goes by too slow....

I think getting psyched is half the fun!!! I wish I could start packing now but I know its WAY too early!! I still have 37 days left!!!

I get psyched just thinking about it and planning it. We don't go until end of June and I am going crazy. I'd like to go now...

We have 2 more days until we start our road trip...3 days until we arrive at Disney. Today when he is least expecting it I get up real close to my DS(4) and scream with excitement "2 more days 2 more days" or "we are going to Disney"

The planning is the start of getting "phyched"
Starting with hotel ressies......
Then at 90 days.....the PS for character meals!
Then at around 60 days when the park hours come out!!!...
.....each week "tweeking" our daily plans

Then Saturday I pulled out my CD of the Millenium Celebration....
It is such an awesome CD.....I can imagine being at Epcot watching Illuminations!!

Then DD and I start to look at pictures of past trips....
and make shopping lists of things we need to pack.

I just can't wait!!!

I just hit 99 days and I'm getting psyched already!

I love watching my planning video over and over. Also, I have a lot of Travel Channel shows on Disney taped which I watch endlessly along with listening to my park CD. Last time, I bought the Disney Trivia book and we enjoy going through that and answering the questions. I pull out all of my previous Disney photo albums and relive each vacation too.

This is the LAST thing I need to do. I already feel like I've got JOLT running through my veins when I think of my upcoming trip. If I get myself further psyched up, I'll need to be checked in a clinic. I need to think of ways to tone myself down.

I stay psyched about a trip all the time! Reading these boards just hypes me up even more! Also, get psyched talking to the kids and DH about it!

Before our recent trip, I went and bought the Disney version of Scene It. Our kids loved it, especially since they have the special set of cards containing trivia questions just for the kids. We played the actual game a handful of times. But, many times, we just grabbed the cards with the questions at dinner time and go around table asking each other Disney trivia questions.
