What do you do to get psyched for your trip??

Dont mind me asking, but whats park hopper radio?

Go to Live365.com, and search for Disney. You'll find all sorts of internet radio stations, including park hopper radio. I also like Radio Buena Vista. It's a great way to hear park music (and rides).

Come to these boards! Listen to Live 365 at work...I bounce around to various Disney stations. I'm driving my dh nuts as I'm always telling him some neat tip that I've read about.

I think I do a lot of that stuff all the time anyways (listening to Mousehouse Radio right now), but there's one thing I do that hasn't been mentioned. A few days before I go, I call and confirm all my reservations and PS. I don't care about confirming the stuff, I just want to talk to the lady who's right there talking to me from the top floor of Cinderella's Castle (that IS where she is, isn't it?). It makes me soooo excited to go!

DH isn't *quite* as excited as me, so I try and do things to make him more excited. We have all of our DW pictures saved on our computer, so every day I put a different picture on our desktop to get him pumped. Listening to Park Hopper radio, being on Disboards, looking at old photos, and going in the Disney store get me excited too!
Uggghhhh...the wait is killing me!

I am really hoping Im not so excited that its a bust! Im hoping I dont have to much planned. I hope our DS 2yrs old and our 8 yr old DS behaves!

To get psyched for my trip last month I watched the Disney Planning DVD as much as possible. I also watched video tapes of past trips to see how much my sister and I grew up. Then I planned and planned and still planned more to make sure that we could see as much as possible in our five days. Let's see... Of course I look at pictures, spent a lot of time on the DisBoards... I watched all of my favorite movies, Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Pirates of the Caribbean. Downloaded classic Disney songs and made my own CD to listen to in the car. And of course I watched every single Disney show on the Travel Channel. Oh! About two weeks before we went the Full House and Step by Step episodes of Disney were on! I said it was a sign that everything would be perfect, and it was!

Now I have to wait til next August to do all of that again. But there is good news! I'm going to my aunt and uncle's house in December to take a tour of Flagler College because I'm transferring out of the college I'm at now and my aunt said she's go on a day trip with me!

Its the Walt Disney World Trivia Book by Louis Mongello. I think you can get it in most book stores. I got mine on Amazon. Its a lot of fun and has some rather challenging questions.

Ok. Don't laugh. But I leave 4 weeks from tomorrow and I have been sorta packed for about a month.

We JUST hit the 30 day mark and I wish I could bottle up this excitement and sell it!!! I am SOOOOO excited! In preparation, I read, read, read the boards. They usually have up to the minute info about what's going on at the park. May is looking like a busy month after all. I also write up an itenerary that is always subject to change. Recheck all of my reservations...just to be sure and start ironing.

DOIN' MY 30 DAY DANCE!!!!!!!!

I too listen to Disney Music all the time, at home and work, everyone makes jokes about it but I can take it. Also, I read the posts and trip reports endlessly, make my vacation folder with every planning aspect in it and read that endlessly too....pretty sick huh? Oh well....I can hardly wait!!!!

I also put a new picture on my desktop each day (everyone LOVES that). I choose pictures from a website that has WDW photos my family hasn't seen.

2 weeks before (okay maybe 3 weeks if I can't control myself) I set a box on our dining room table. We then begin to put in the standard stuff we take along. This is also exciting because I'm a bit anal about stuff sitting around so my kids think I've finally relaxed when I do this!!!! Mom's relaxed.... it's vacation time!!!!
