What do you do on your last day???

We spent our last day at DTD - when we finally left there, I walked the last few steps backwards to make it last longer! I still have the mentality of a small child! :p

Our flight was at 5.30pm, and we were at the airport by about 2.00pm, to return the car. We then had a peaceful 2 and a half hours in the Guest House at Sanford, which was well worth the money. DH watched a film, DS played in the play area and I sat and read the newspaper - what a sociable family we are!

Sara. :)

We arrive at 0830ish and generally get away pretty quick, last week they had a dedicated seperate sign where the queue would form for PE passengers.

When we arrived there were about 10 people in the Economy queue, however we were 1st in the PE one and were dealt with 1st, before any of the Economy passengers were asked to come forward.

One other thing to ask as we can't remember from the last time we used DTD check-in. How long before the flight (after handing back the car for which I like to allow an hour max.) ought you to be on the airport concourse?

Thanks.

On Saturday 2nd September checked in at DTD after Chef mickeys at 9am, back to MK spent 9.50am to 3pm at MK, drove to Airport arrioved at 4pm, car back went through security, and on plane at 5.10pm for 5.50pm take off.

They tell you arrive one hour before the flight to do security.

Always start our last day off at DTD, travel Economy with Virgin and have never queued for longer than 30 minutes, spend all day at Seaworld (have to watch a last show of Clyde & Seymour!) and then head to Dennys for a quick bite to eat and get to the airport for about 4.30pm for the 6.15 flight.

Seaworld is nice and relaxing at the end, MK this time ended with a race around the rides and thw wife saying do not do Splash you will all get wet and will not dry off, we did it at 2.30pm and we were all dry by the time we left the park.

Thank you Andrew. Useful guidance.

On the last day it's usually DTD for a bit for last minute shopping then MK until I get chucked out - I stand by the entrance and look up Main Street at the castle for one last time until DW tells me to move it - otherwise I'd never leave. :cheer2:

This time on our last full day we are going to a park or other during the day....then Cali Grill for Dinner and to watch wishes...I know I will cry!

Then on the day we fly home we're gonna go shopping in the morning, finish packing up in the afternoon and then off (we've got TCD transfers, don't know what time it will pick us up but we don't fly till 20.30...I can see muches hanging around if they put us on the same transfers as an earlier flight)

Hi everyone

Well I asked on another thread what people do on their first day in Orlando and had a great response on that, so I am now wondering what everyone does on their last day in Orlando?

On our last full day we went to MK. This time I plan to maybe do TL in the morning, then rush to AK for a couple of hours then finish of at MK.

What do you all do on your last day?

(except trying to hide in disney so that you can stay or look at possible jobs you could do in WDW... :rotfl2: )

Check in luggage at the airport,
Go back to MK,
Run around getting last minute things,
Go back to airport :-(
