We are usually pretty tired after all the travelling so on arrival we just unpack, shower, explore the hotel, find something to eat and relax in our room.

The next morning we ALWAYS head for the Magic Kingdom though - it's a tradition of ours as it was our very first park together - aaaah! :):):)

We usually just relax the first evening. The drive for us takes 10-11 hours, so we really just like to have dinner & crash after getting there. The next day we hit the parks.

When I go with my family, we always go to MK, we haven't really arrived until we've done MK! :)

If its a solo trip, you will usually find me in Epcot first. I love that park when I don't have my kids with me, I love browsing through all the shops, having a margarita in Mexico and a fruit tart in France. My kids can't be bothered, so if I'm in WDW alone, I do try and take advantage of as much Epcot as I can get.

We usually hit Character Warehouse at the outlet mall and then head to Downtown Disney. MK is our first park to hit as well!

We look around the hotel grounds and then head to DTD.

We generally like to hang out by the hotel pool the day of our arrival...try to get in by lunch time. Then hit the MK the early the next day

We fly in and usually get to the hotel around 1:00. Then, we head to MGM (got to ride RnR and ToT fist day) do other MGM stuff, eat at 50's Prime Time Cafe, and Fantasmic to eand the day.

We usually get there late morning or early afternoon, get settled in, and then hit MK. :teeth:

Usually get in around noon and head for which ever park the interpreters are at and go watch a few shows. Only a 4 hour drive for us.

We usually arrive in the early afternoon and after checking into the hotel and getting settled we head to Downtown Disney and then we ALWAYS go to Chef Mickey's to officially start our adventure.

Other places, we usually rest a little for the first day, but when it's WDW, we're up and in the Magic Kingdom on out first full day - always!

We usually arrive around noon and then head over to DTD. The kids always insist on eating at the Rainforest at DTD the first day, it's become a family tradition.:D

I usually get to my hotel by noon time, check in, go to the room then I am off and running to MK, my first stop no matter what. How can I not go to Disney without heading there first. :D

We leave our bags, clean up a bit.. and head right into Epcot through the International Gateway as we always stay on that side..

Our last few trips we head to Epcot, eat a leisurely late lunch and "ease" into the Disney experience.

In May our flight arrives at noon. We figure we should be all checked in by 3:00 at least and we will head to Epcot. If we are tired we will return to CSR early, if not, we will stay for Illuminations. I like going to Epcot first because it seems to be less crowded and more relaxing - especially the World Showcase. We LOVE to people-watch!

We always get settled and then enjoy exploring the resort and maybe take a swim.Have a fairly early dinner, let DS run around a bit then off to bed.Up very early the next morning and off to MK!!!

Like you, Belle, we're usually too tired to do anything when we first arrive. We have to leave home at around 5am, it's a 2 hour drive to the airport, we have to be there 3 hours before departure, then it's an 8 1/2 hour flight from the UK. By the time we've cleared the double baggage collection at MCO, collected the car and reached our accommodation it's about 5pm EST (10pm to our body clocks) and it's as much as we can do to grab a bite to eat.

Thanks to the jet-lag we're usually awake at 4am the first day, so we're up and at it early. Epcot is a first day tradition for us and I always shed a tear of happiness at my first glimpse of Spaceship Earth. The first time, the kids wanted to know if I'd bumped my toe! 10 years on they just roll their eyes and say, "Mum's started!"

For us it's the Monorail Pub Crawl on the first night!
