What do you do on Halloween night?

For the last few years my DH and I have pizza, watch a movie and hand out candy. Good enough for me!!!

My DH usually has to work, so I dress up, make myself dinner, watch a movie, and hand out candy.

I hand out the candy...I love seeing all the little kids in their costumes.

I take the kids trick-or-treating with friends. Then we go home and eat way too much candy.

What do you do on Halloween night?


Fill my Dads socks with flour...Steal his shaving cream or beg Mom to buy us some...Do some more begging for Mom to buy us some eggs...Oh,oh,oh sorry having a flashback.

After trick or treating we dump the goods onto a table and Mom and Dad tells the kids, "this hershey bar is no good let me put it in this pile over here."

I take my children out with a group of other kids and parents. My wife stays back and hands out the candy.

I work at my church's halloween carnival for an hour or so and then come home and pass out candy

I get DS dressed up and wait until a few kids have come by so he can give out candy (he loves doing this). Then he and I go around the neighborhood while DH puts on his blinky Mickey sorcerer's hat from WDW (the one with the batteries) and hands out candy, while sometimes sitting on the front porch with his laptop on the DIS, eating out of candy bowl.

Afterwards DS helps hand out candy until we start getting the groups of teenagers without costumes carrying large pillowcases of candy and at that point we turn off the porch light, wrestle DS's candy pumpkin away from him after letting him pick some to eat and then we tuck him in and I try to decide if I can leave my Halloween tree in the bay window until Thanksgiving if I just take the mickey pumpkin lights off and leave the orange ones. Then we steal candy from DS's pumpkin, laugh and go to bed.

I've been going to my friend's house for a few years now. She always has a Halloween sleepover and party. This year, we may go see NMBC in 3-D early and then get back in time to hand out candy. (If we don't eat it all first! )

Since it's on Tuesday night this year I'm not sure. Probably going to the church's trunk or treat.
