Jogging, walking, stationary bike, elliptical (my fave) wii fit while on my tradmill (for the little jogging thing they have on there) classes at the gym sometimes... chasing my dogs.
I chose other, in addition to walking and jogging.
I walk the dog (soon to be plural ) for 30 minutes every morning and 30 minutes at night...and we walk fast!
It's the only excercise I get apart from the Wii so I try to make it count. Not trying to lose weight, but DH mentioned he could see a difference a couple of months ago. Apparently my butt and thighs are firmer and shapelier!
Long story short, I had a knee replacement while on chemo. I lost a lot of weight from chemo, and now the knee is too big. It's rubbing something fierce against the skin/muscle, and it hurts bad. I'm going in for surgery to fix it soon, but for now PT is my only exercise.
OMG - You are so right - swimming is great exercise!! I haven't been in a pool since Disney, and there were no laps done then, so it totally slipped my mind!
I'm much more active in the warmer months and like to take brisk walks and swim in the ocean but this time of year, it's 5 oz curls (chardonnay) and keyboarding only.
I sometimes dream that I do a whole morning routine including crunches and leg lifts but when I wake up I realize I'm only dreaming and I start the coffee and head for the shower
Being that I'm edging on 30# overweight you would think I wouldn't see the humorous side of this but I still do
I elliptical 2 -3 times a week and walk a few miles every Saturday morning with my dad if it isn't too icy! I am mostly maintaining, but if I could lose about 5 pounds that would really be nice!
