Any crate that would fit Brownie, would be bigger than our Pop up!![]()
Ok, gotta see a picture!

he'll run around and play like there's no tomorrow then BAM, drop like a stone and out like a light for several hours.
I figure my border collies will be like that too... when they're about 12!

Right now they're 2 and almost 7, and the 7 year old has NO problem at all keeping up with the little one. In fact, he acts more like a puppy now than when he WAS a puppy!
I'm surprised I haven't wrapped them all in bubble wrap and stuffed them in a closet ~grin~
DH is the same way! When we're on the road, he makes me put an extra harness and *2* leashes on our little one in case we drop one on a potty break. (not.even.kidding) Of course I can't really blame him. She's the one that will wander off looking for something fun to do, and will go to pretty much any breathing human looking for a friend.
Our older boy is velcro and not going anywhere where we're not.

I shouldn't admit this but.....when I take Brownie to the Disney kennels....I take a big battery operated fan and a blanket for his cot.I know...I'm pathetic.
Nah... you're just a really good dog Mom.

I'm surprised I haven't brought the portable DVD player so he can watch Animal Planet.........hmmmmm![]()

<LOL> Umm... that's what we did so that the dogs would have a TV they could see from their end of the TT. Yup - we're hopeless too!

... if the weather was nice, they had access to water, and are used to being crated while the owners are away, asleep, etc. I think they probably weren't horrible pet owners. AND, is it possible Disney gave them permission to bring their dogs under those circumstances?
In the 2 cases we witnessed the dogs really were perfectly fine. It was in Dec and the dogs were under cover and in the shade and didn't seem to be in any sort of distress (or we definitely would have done something!) In fact we didn't even know the dog in the add-a-room was there until we walked by and he happened to sit up and look at us. The biggest issue was the one where the dogs were crated outside at night and barked at 2am.
Not sure about the "permission" part, but based on other reports, I'd say that more likely than not Disney just doesn't enforce their own rules. Which makes no sense to me. Presumably they're there for a reason, otherwise why have them at all?
