I'll second that! I HATE take off's! I HATE the feeling in my stomach! YUCK!
I still dread the takeoff in Rock 'n Roller Coaster. But I'll still ride it. (Visited WDW several times since it opened but wasn't until Aug. '04 I got up the courage for my first ride.)

The fact that there is nothing holding up the plane.
There's gotta be something holding up the plane. Otherwise the plane would have fallen down a minute ago. One of these days someone will invent glass bottom planes (like glass bottom boats). Then everyone will have something to look out at and there will be less boredom.

People who can't manage their own luggage and expect someone to help them.
Tell them to give you the handle end. And drag it to the seat in front of them, not overhead. Others will thank you for the latter.

People who whack you in the head with their bags because they have too many as they go down the aisles.
(copied from another post) If they get a bad bad reaction they deserve all of it. If you have to, bat the bag out of the way.

People who let their kids stand up and drool all over the seat back and cough or sneeze their bugger faces at you.
Health hazard, let the stewardess know.

People who have seats in the back of the plane and put their roll-on in the first overhead they come to.
Not good to have your roll-on so far away you can't see it, sometimes someone actually takes it down, passes it around [999 bottles of beer on the wall] and later the stewardess comes and when no one is in sound of her voice to claim it, gate checks it.

People with assigned middle seats who take the aisle seat and then get pissy with you about moving.
Don't give in.

People who can't fit into their own space and expect to raise the armrest to take half of the seat you paid for as well.
Pusing the armrest back down is a gesture in principle but does not solve the problem because the arm rest doesn't go all the way from seat to shoulder height. If you know there are lots and lots of empty seats, sit someplace else. The airline must reseat you if you ask. Just be sure to ask before departure, asking for the complaint resolution officer if needed.

My only problem is the car seat and stroller I will have to check at the boarding ramp.
Dont they let people with small children (2 and under) pre-board?
Your car seat must also be FAA approved as an airline booster seat then you can bring it on board for your kid to sit in.
(copied from another post) Ask to pre-board. Whether or not they let you, you can still take the time you need to get settled without saying anything and without telling anyone.

... or pull back on my seat alot.
If you think someone is about to pull on your seat, sit forward slightly and push the recline button.

One more thing, bring your brother in law. There are advantages in going to WDW together with relatives and their families.
If you learn to get through all this without giving in, you should have no problem dealing with rude people at parades.
