If you have a Samsung TV, consider a Samsung soundbar. It connects wirelessly and, at least for me, has worked much better than using an HDMI cable, which I had myriad problems with.

We have an LG with a Vizio connected via optical cable. It's a super easy connection. I just want better sound, mostly for steaming music. We have a great room setup so surround sound isn't really ever going to work well since we can't place rear speakers. Our Vizio sounds good for movies and TV but it is like 8 years old and the wireless subwoofer keeps cutting in and out lately.

Dumb question but did you actually get the carrots? I do that sometimes - come away with everything under the sun except what I actually went for.

Nothing at the moment. I was supposed to go to WDW on vacation this week until the 30th, and had already purchased groceries for a quarantine afterwards. I threw my back out last weekend and had to postpone the trip, so I was already well stocked. I probably won’t need to go to the store for another couple weeks.

I almost forgot them, actually. I even mentioned it to the cashier when she asked if I found everything I needed. I told her "I found a bunch of things I didn't need and almost forgot the one thing I did."
